Fashion Week is in full swing for Fall 2013, but in terms of what you’ll be wearing in a few months, it is full swing for Spring 2013. While much of what I’m seeing on the runway this week is not for the average budget, Home Shopping Network is bringing high fashion and top name designers, to women, everywhere!
I recently visited the HSN offices (that’s “Home Shopping Network” and got a small peek at some of the trends and fashion items that HSN will be touting for Spring. These items will be available shortly. The Advice Sisters are certain that some of these will catch your eye, and your heart. You’ll want to them to your Spring looks!
HSN has tons of fashion-forward items from designers you know and love, and many of them are seriously affordable! Despite the fact that they are accessible to women everywhere, their impressive stable of designer brands includes the likes of: AKKAD, G by Giuliana Rancic, IMAN, American Glamour Badgley Mischka, Sam Edelman, Vince Camuto, Vicky Tiel, RJ Graziano, Serena Williams, Curations by Stefani Greenfield, Twiggy & First Time Launches: Striking by Christian Siriano, PL by Padma Lakshmi, June Ambrose Collection for Theme Footwear and Rara Arvis by Iris Apfel for Theme Footwear.
What follows is just a small taste of what HSN is going to be offering but trust me, you will want to watch the TV shows and shop the website.
So what’s a must for Spring 2013?
The first (and easy) must-have is something bright, preferably neon, like these shiny, glizted-up sandals. You don’t want to overdo the neon, but the pop! of a bright or neon with white or another neutral, adds something new to your look. If you’re uneasy about wearing something bright on your body, these sandals let you rock the look, in an easy way.
Other easy to wear and pair trends are mixed prints, maxi dresses, Neutrals, Blazers & Color blocking. I particularly liked the maxi dress on the left, by E-News TV personality, Giuliana Rancic. While her style on the red carpet is more formal, the bold print, bright orange top and maxi length fit nearly all the hottest trends in one outfit! Add some bold beads, and you’re ready for Spring.
Debuting on February 22nd is a collection exclusively by the first Project Runway designer who has wowed us ever since; Christian Siriano. “Striking” is the name of the collection, and surely, it is! The golden jacket is just one example of a modern, glamorous look for Spring. Siriano’s couture designers cost a lot, but this collection for HSN has a price range of merely: $79.90 to $169.90!
One of the things I really like about HSN is the quality of the products. Like the fashions, HSN manages to offer consumers tons of jewelry every season that looks like it should cost a literal fortune, but most of the pieces are truly affordable. I love rose gold, and these pieces by AKKAD in pave and rose gold (plate or filled) are truly lovely. The glittery, inside/outside hoop earrings make you feel like J-Lo, without even trying! The heavily blinged-out cuff with the blue stones on the top left, is so gorgeous in person, this photo couldn’t possibly do it justice.
This is just a teeny, tiny taste of what HSN is bringing (and blinging) out for Spring 2013 beginning towards the end of this month, and through the coming season.
