I love accessories! A bit of bling, a witty hat, a chic bag to carry, or even a lovely laptop case, can transform any outfit from blah to head-turning. You don’t need to spend a fortune to have a “pirate’s treasure” of accessories treats on hand. A few days ago, I attended an event at the Accessories Council at the Roman & Sunstone showroom. As edtiors nibbled cupcakes, and wine from Ogio (the pinot grigio I tasted was light and refreshing), we eagerly awaited our host, Karen Giberson, the president of the Accessories Council, and her guest, stylist Alison Lang. As the program continued, they offered some suggestions for “moms” of every personality. In disclosure, editors received some gift items from brands such Armitron, BCBGeneration, Bishop Aprons, Caroline Rocha, Echo Design Group, Eric Javits, Francesca’s, John Wind Maximal Art, MCM, Roman & Sunstone, Sprout, and Jill Haber Designs, toted home in shopping bags courtesy of Steve Madden and Hayden Harnett.
But of course, the accessories highlighted were not just for moms. Every woman will want them! But, since Mother’s Day is right around the proverbial corner, I’m parting with my usual, traditional and sometimes lengthy fashion feature and am just going to show you some of the items from the Accessories Council Mother’s Day Gift Suggestions that made me literally, salivate! Show your love to Mom, and to yourself, and anyone else who is a special woman ..you can’t miss with any of these gift ideas.
I love the Eric Javits bag that I tweeted about right from the event (@advicesisters) but there is so much more.

My favorite is definitely the Eric Javits bag at $335.00. Not the least expensive gift in the bunch, but it’s crushable for travel, and the enamel starfish makes it a Summer or resort vacation, must-have!

John Wind’s pop of neon mixes pearls with brights to take ladylike to a more modern lavel. He also has charm bracelets that can be adorned with initials featuring a tiny neon bead and an empowering word on it (e.g. A=”aspire”)
- This chic apron from Bishop offers the crafty or foodie mom, a way to crate, without messing up her clothes. CUTE!

the packaging and the bottle of Francea’s Tuilieres Eau de Parfum is so pretty and the fragrance is vegan and cruelty-free and just $28.00
- who wouldn’t covet a one of a kind cuff bracelet from Caroline Rocha?!
These are my favorite picks from all the accessories showcased.
Which of these are your favorites?
