Meet A Mighty Mini
There are plenty of utilitarian humidifiers, but the Aircare AURORAmini Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier by Essikair is petite and pretty…it looks like a raindrop.
It isn’t the cute design that matters as much as what it does: silently adds much-needed moisture to your room. It will run up to 12 hours on a .33 gallon water tank, covering up to 360 square feet.
On top of its small footprint, it also has a color-changing LED light feature to add fun and ambiance to your space or act as a nightlight, and that’s not all!
There is a little tray on the side of the unit that you can fill with essential oil for aromatherapy purposes or perhaps, to diffuse the smell of the cat box, cooking odors, etc.

What is Ultrasonic?
Unlike the wet and noisy humidifiers, your mom might have used new ultrasonic humidifiers atomize water into ultra-fine particles using the principle of ultrasonic high-frequency oscillation. In plain terms, the process diffuses cool water vapor into the air.
The Controls
Some appliances have controls that you need Ph.D. to operate, but the AURORAmini has super-simple controls that let you easily adjust the level of humidity. There’s a tiny push button to activate the LED color-changing feature.
You’ll also find a little slide-out tray on the side for adding essential oil and a removable, funnel-shaped topper to direct the mist 360-degrees.

Filling the AURORAmini humidifier is easy at the sink. However, the essential oils tray was hard to open at first.
I used the AirCare Essential Oils (included with the unit) and you can also get this essential oil trio on Amazon.
