Nail fantasies for nail polish fans who love dreamy colors are coming true with the Beauty and the Beast 2017 Collections by Gelish and Morgan Taylor.
The beautiful nial colors are set to coordinate with the release of the Walt Disney Pictures’ live-action film, Beauty and the Beast scheduled to be in theaters on March 17th.
For the few who don’t know the story of the film, it’s a classic:
“Beauty and the Beast” is the story of Belle, an independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a hideous-looking Beast in his castle.
Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff (a favorite song from the animated film is “Be Our Guest” where the “staff” of tea service including teacups and teapots sing and dance).
Others might find the beast horrifying, but Belle learns to see beyond the image of the beast and see the heart of the true Prince within him.
Of course, there’s a happy ending!
Beauty and the Beast Nail Color Palette:
Cliche aside, the pretty shades of red pearls and pink and baby blue crème in the Beauty and the Beast nail lacquer and Gelish mini collections will make your nails the “Belle” of any occasion.
The shades really are “enchanting,” especially after several seasons of deep colors. We call these “ice cream” colors!
The Last Petal – Red Pearl Be Our Guest – Pink Crème Plumette With Excitement – Pale Pink Crème Gaston And On And On – Baby Blue Crème Days In The Sun – Yellow Potts Of Tea – Alabaster Enchanted Patina – Specialty Patina Overlay Coat (*not available in Gelish MINI).
Most of the Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquers are a creme formula. However, ” Potts of Tea” is a very sheer alabaster gray with the merest hint of pink shimmer.
It’s hard to play favorites with a collection this pretty, but I think this one really is great for busy people who just want a hint of color and lots of shine.
More Shimmery still are The Last Petal, a bold raspberry, and Enchanted Patina, a rose gold semi-sheer color which is quite unique and very beautiful.
The rest are opaque cremes. When you apply a pastel you have to make sure you apply it smoothly, but the Morgan Taylor nail lacquer brush is designed to do just that. One coat is ok, two coats make these colors, pop.
Have You Tried Gelish® Mini(s)?
For those of you who want their nail color to last longer (up to 3 weeks), there is a Gelish Mini version of the Beauty and the Beast 2017 Nail Color Collection.
Gelish Mini’s are a gel polish formula in mini-sized bottles.
You apply Gelish Mini colors just like regular nail polish but they don’t dry unless you “cure” them with a specialized lamp.
Curing takes about 30 seconds with an LED lamp or about two minutes with a traditional UV lamp.
Gelish® stays on for long wear, but when you’re ready to remove the color it will soak off in about 15 minutes.
If you have a lamp you can do the gel mani at home, or take your Gelish Mini to your nail salon (or ask if they carry Gelish mini).
The Beauty and the Beast 2017 collection from Gelish and Morgan Taylor will be available for a limited time beginning February 2017.
Gelish will be available for $12.99 at http://www.gelish.com. Morgan Taylor will be available for $9.00 at http://www.MorganTaylorLacquer.com
