Beautiful Creatures is an upcoming supernatural romance film that will launch on February 14th (Valentines Day). It’s based upon the novel of the same name, by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohll. The main characters are Lena Duchannes who is new to the small, South Carolina town of Gatlin and her soon-to-be boyfriend, Ethan Wate, who wants to leave what he considers a dull, dead end place. But I guess the dull days soon end, because Lena has her family’s Dark powers. On the 16th birthday she will undergo a “claiming,” which will decide forever if her fate will be Light or Dark. The cast features Oscar® winners Emma Thompson and Jeremy Irons, Oscar® nominee Viola Davis, Golden Globe nominee Emmy Rossum and Alice Englert as Lena Duchannes with A;den Ehrenreichas Ethan Wate.
