There’s nothing better than a pampering bath and body experience, but high end, spa-style products can be very pricey. One brand that brings spa-style home, but is affordable and great for every day, is Cleanlogic (www.CleanLogicBodyCare.com).
A unique aspect of CleanLogic (and one that caught my eye (no pun intended) is that CleanLogic is the first beauty brand to include braille on their packaging. Since there are something like 25 million blind and visually impaired people in the United States alone, this is a caring gesture that makes the product even nicer (and accessible to those with vision issues). But whether you are sight-impaired or not, CleanLogic has many things that you can buy to make bath, or shower, a mini-escape. I’ve picked a few things that are “logical” choices (pun intended).
Everyone needs a cleanser, and for most of us, that means soap. Many men actually won’t use a liquid cleanser, saying it is too much trouble to put it on a sponge or wash cloth. Well, that may be a silly reason not to use a liquid soap, but bar soap is understandable for all. And CleanLogic has one that multi-tasks so easily, even a man can “get it.” Theirs is a soap and an Exfoliating Body Scrubber. It’s just $4.49 and *Shipping: $2.86. There are three scents: We tried the red “Peach Berry” fragrance, which to us smelled a lot like candy (good for kids and teens), but there is also a lavender and a cucumber melon. Each of these is a bar of all natural glycerin soap built around a synthetic sponge with NOPAL extracts (a type of cactus). The soap lathers well, and helps you “soapfoliate” in a whole new way. It’s a clever time-saver and a lot of fun to use.
If you’re not into a soap/loofah combo, try a regular Exfoliating Body Scrubber $3.19 *Shipping: $2.63. This one from CleanLogic is 3″ x 5: , big enough to handle even a large man. One side of the scrubber is a soft terry, to do the washing job, but the other is a rough scrubby that my friend and co-reviewer for the day, exclaimed was very much like the ones that pamper her at the Korean Spa, leaving no dead cells in it’s wake! There is a satin handle if you want to get a better grip on the scrubber, or just use it to hang it up after you’re done for the day.
At the end of the day, when you’re drained and need some pampering, CleanLogic’s Dual Temperature Relaxing Gel Eye Mask can be used hot or cold. I don’t like to put things on my face, but the CleanLogic Rejuvenating Dual Temperature Gel Eye Mask is really a boon for when you need a little something. Put it in hot water for 5-10 minutes (do not boil) or pop it in the fridge (for 10-20 minutes–do not freeze) and use it cold. When you are done, just put it in a plastic bag and leave it in the fridge, for next time. Used cold, the mask is especially good to de-puff from allergies and swollen eyes but used hot, the heat relaxes your face, and is great for stress and a bad headache. Great for travel, too.
If all of this isn’t enough to convince you to check out CleanLogic, you might also like to know that a portion of the proceeds from CleanLogic purchases will be donated to the inspiration foundation (IF ), a non-profit organization that helps people with vision loss live fulfilling and independent lives. Cleanlogic’s Founder and CEO Isaac Shapiro’s philanthropic efforts are the result of personal life experiences. “My mother Bea has been blind since she was 7-years-old,” said Shapiro. “She dedicated her life to helping others affected with blindness and vision loss to live an independent life. Inspired by her drive and aspiration, my co-founder, Mike Ghesser and I have created the Inspiration Foundation™.” Isn’t that nice to know?!
All CleanLogic products range in price from $.99 to $5.99. Find these products online at CleanLogicBodyCare.com or at Walgreens.
