Skincare from Korea is trendy, but that’s not enough to make me love it. I have to know it’s got something special to motivate me. 

Belif calls itself a “true herbal cosmetic brand.” They do use herbals, but mixed with “science.” and they offer has high-performance products that do specific things everyone needs especially when it comes to hydration of your skin.

The skin care is serious, but the company vibe (check out the fun website) is lighthearted, fun, cool!  *check out Belif’s  Don’t Be Flaky Gift Set in our December 14th Big Holiday Beauty Guide.  It features cute stickers with which to personalize your potion, and most importantly Belif’s cult item: the True Cream Moisturizing Balm claiming up to a whopping 26 hours of moisture.

Now, I’m just dying over Belief’s  Moisturizing Bomb Cushion Compact!

This compact is basically a BB cream with the moisturizing balm, married to SPF 50 and a sheer tint (light or natural beige) packed in a cute mirrored compact with yellow graphics showing “notable” buildings around the world.

Two other key ingredients include Comfrey Leaf (hydrating and soothing herbal) and Ceramide (helps to prevent moisture evaporation).

What it doesn’t have is Parabens, Sulfates  or Phthalates.

A Two Part Travel-Friendly Compact

Inside, there’s a two-part compact, the top featuring a “cushion” sponge to dispense the product, so it’s  not messy. The ” ruby cell puff” (claims antimicrobial properties and a cooling effect–we didn’t feel it but that’s ok) is on the bottom.

The main thing to remember besides that SPF 50 protection is that this product claims to provide hydration up to 26 hours  while the tint can help blur imperfections. But more than that, the compact makes it so portable for touch-ups and additional applications of SPF, you have absolutely no excuse not to do it. *good value too, because you get a free refill with your purchase.

You Won’t “Belif” How Lightweight This Product Is! 

Pardon the silly play on words, but the Belif Moisturizing Bomb Cushion Compact is so lightweight you won’t even know you’re wearing it. Yet, the sun protection actives are major: a powerful 5.46% Titanium Dioxide and 2.7% Ensuilzole. 

Mellow, Yellow?

Yes, I love this product that is good for all skin types, but maybe not as friendly to all skin tones . As of now, there are only two colors: Light Beige (very light) and Natural Beige (medium) and alas, it’s a bit on the “yellow” side that is more flattering to skin tones in Korea, less so here in the USA.

But the good news is that it’s so sheer many of you will just wear it as a sheer BB cream.  Or, use it as your moisturizer and SPF protection (leave 15 minutes for it to get going before you go into the sun) and add your favorite products on top of it.
