There are so many skincare stories out there on the Internet. This story is about some of the things we have tried focusing on some really special brands offering really special products. So here are some of the best of the best skin care picks for Spring 2021. You’ll want to check these out!
Payot “Candy” & Beautiful Hand Cream
When it comes to the best skincare picks, we love products with skin-loving benefits that are also beautifying. Nutraicia Rose Candy ($19) by Payot is lip”candy” you can use without guilt! These goodies are tinted lip balm in a pot. They do more than look good, they also offer 3-in-1 skin-loving benefits. “Rose Candy” adds a (layer-able) peachy-pink tint, nourishing your lips quite thoroughly. There’s a “Rouge Cherry” (red) version as well.
Creamy to Hydrating Oil
Key ingredients include Sweet almond. Raspberry seed, Meadowfoam, and Coconut oils (organic). There’s also super hydrating Shea butter, and Beeswax. The creamy texture becomes an oil when you slick it on. This helps to deal with the dryness cold, wind and masks can cause.
The fragrance is a treat, too: with subtle notes of rose, orange blossom, and rhubarb. *The reason you’re seeing a Payot stock photo instead of my photos is due to the fact that mine was swiped off my desk before I could photograph it. This doesn’t happen often but Payot is that good!
Payot also has a bunch of hand creams (Pour Les Mains) but one that really makes a big difference to elegantly stop the dryness and itching is their Supreme Jeunesse Les Mains aka. Global Youth Nourishing Hand Care ($28).
The gender-neutral pearly silver tube with black accents delivers a cream for hand and nails enriched with pea extract. The formula also has skin brightening and anti-pigment benefits. But that’s not all: it also has an anti-dark spot vitamin C. It’s great to fight the signs of aging on your hands, but it’s good for all skin types at any age.
Key actives include magnolia and orchid extracts and Carcinine (for anti-inflammatory/antioxidant benefits), Brown algae extract and Hyaluronic acid (plump & Hydrate), and Vitamin C. (even out skin tone) With regular use your hands will not only feel smoother, but they will also look younger, as well. You won’t find any GMO, Toxins, Parabens and it’s not tested on animals, either

BeautyStat’s Serious Skincare
BeautyStat creator chemist Ron Robinson has an impressive resume and tons of experience in creating skincare formulas. When he started BeautyStat it was mostly a review site. However, within a few years, Ron had created a line of skincare in the same name as the website: The products claim to do a number of good things for your skin including correct skin imperfections, soften and hydrate skin, improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and protect. They are also safe for sensitive skin.
To be sure, there are a lot of products that can do all these things. However, I’ll cut to the chase and tell you that these products are really excellent.
When Ron launched BeautyStat’s first product in 1999 it was the Universal C Skin Refiner, a serum formulated with encapsulated 20% pure L-Ascorbic acid, along with EGCG (the active ingredient found in green tea), squalane, and exfoliating tartaric acid. Robinson has three patents on the serum, and backed the product up with independent clinical trials.
One of BeautyStat’s new products is a Universal C Eye Perfector that has CBD. I’m skeptical of the efficacy of CBD in beauty products even though it’s trendy. That doesn’t take anything away from the smooth as silk, herbal-scented eye cream that has Vitamin C. It absorbs quickly making under-eye skin feel renewed. And there are no phthalates, parabens, preservatives, dyes, fragrance.
The BeautyStat Mini Universal Essentials Kit has three great products including the Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream in a little jar. Ron, I tip my tiara to you, these products are awesome!
Ron’s products have Vitamin C that doesn’t oxidize or degrade. I like the (mostly) oxygen-free pumps (Universal Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream is in a jar with no applicator). What’s more, these formulas are so well crafted, and they’re truly luxurious to apply. They really make you want to use them instead of just slopping on some creams as a daily chore. Phytomer’s Fantastic SPF!
When it comes to SPF and sun protection, even a little bit is better than none. However, when the product you apply has fabulous skincare benefits, that is even better. Phytomer’s Algodéfense SPF 20 Multi-Protection Wrinkle Cream is pricey at $112 for 1.6 fl. oz. But it’s an investment in your skin’s health and beauty. It does so much o nourish, hydrate, enhance and protect your skin and therefore it’s worth every penny.
This multi-tasker has the Phytomer Citysafe complex. Blue microalgae and red algae combine three marine sugars (thanks to biotechnology) and that acts as a shield against pollution. It also helps to treat dark spots. I learned a while back that the algae used in this ingredient actually helps to filter the water at Phytomer’s own labs.
Key actives include 2.7% Avobenzone, 6.7% Octinoxate, 4.5% Octisalate, and 5% Octocrylene. All of these protect your skin with SPF 20. While that level of SPF might not be enough for sunbathing (which really, we know isn’t all that good for you anyway) it is at least enough to wear on a daily basis while the ingredients work hard to nourish your skin while providing protection from pollution, free radicals, and UV rays.
A subtle floral scent and non-sticky formula make it something you will wear every day. Visit the Phytomer website to learn more.
New Nifty Night Cream
The citrus scent is the first thing I noticed when I used the oxygen-free pump to test Eraclea Restorative Night Cream + Melatonin ($95 1 fl/ oz.). But the most surprising thing was how it felt on my skin.
Many of my advicesisters.com readers may not be old enough to remember a mom or grandma who slathered cold cream or other gooey substances on their faces for night-time restoratives. These messy person-repellers needed an update.
Eraclea has a clear, non -sticky formula that absorbs quickly so you can get your beauty sleep and look and feel as though you’re wearing nothing at all on your face. However, your skin feels smoother and softer in the morning, thanks to HydraFusion, a hyaluronic acid complex that helps your skin recover from environmental saboteurs. It also nourishes, hydrates, will improves skin texture, and provides anti-aging benefits.
To be honest, I was never much of a night cream fan until I found this product. But it’s so easy, pleasant, and non-obvious on your skin. Therefore, it’s not in my dreams, it’s on my face! Visit the eraclea website for more information
