Better Not Younger Hair Products:
The Better not Younger brand was created when Rochelle couldn’t find anything specifically suited to women going through “the change.” So she created Pause Well Aging skincare to address those needs. But most of these products are good for adult women (and admittedly, some men) of any age. The same is true for Better Not Younger hair products.
What’s in the Big Blue Gift Box?
In the beautiful blue gift box with silver metallic accents, you’ll find five items. I’ve already reviewed the Superpower Hair and Scalp Liquid Serum & Comb Set (read that review). But in the box, there’s also the Superpower Night and a Day Brow Enhancing Duo, and a Superpower Lash Growth Serum. The products are also vegan, paraben-free, sulfate-free, safe for color-treated and keratin-treated hair, and cruelty-free.
If you want healthier hair, start with the scalp. The serum is a true game-changer. And I loved the “comb” applicator into which you dispense the serum which offers a nice scalp-massaging tool with or without the serum. It’s really unique. To use this, open and remove the top cover of the comb by turning it counterclockwise. Add the serum into the filling port using the dropper. Close the top and hold the body of the comb while gently pressing its teeth onto your scalp. Slide it around to evenly distribute the serum. Don’t rinse! Be patient. Stronger hair should be yours in about 8 weeks.
Hair on your Brows and Lashes Needs TLC Too:
I love the idea that this set has a brow-enhancing Day & Night set of serums, and a Lash Growth Serum. Both brows and lashes can thin with age or abuse from tweezing and too much mascara. However, you do have to be patient with these products. These are not quick-fix products. Depending upon your own personal skin and hair, these products with regular use may take 4-6 weeks to see some results. That doesn’t mean they don’t work, it just takes time.
If your brows are sparse, the day and night serums have Vitamin B, peptides, and amino acids for thicker, fuller and healthier-looking brows. You can use these on tattooed brows and with other products.
Lashes also will increase in density over time with the Superpower Lash Enhancing Serum. According to Better Not Younger, it is clinically proven to increase the appearance of lash density by up to 82%. This is supposedly accomplished in just 4 weeks, but I know from personal experience it might take a while longer. So, if you don’t see much improvement don’t give up–everyone is different. But you can use this with mascara and other products if you wish.
