I have just found the coolest company, with the chic-est products! ChicBlvd Inc, a multi-media company located in Vista, CA was launched in 2004 by two young women, Nikki Gutshall and Kailynn Bowling, with a dream to inspire and create. This women-geared electronic company has effective and unique products for MP3/iPods, cell phones, and other such devices. Nikki and Kailynn cleverly realized that nearly 85% of all consumer electronic purchases are made by women but the industry as a whole isn’t catering to them. So they created the a company called ChicBuds featuring product’s made by women for women.

The products are functional but created for a woman on the go, looking for fashion as well as convenience. For example, the PinkTooth Bluetooth® Wireless Headset Listening is just $49.95. This is a Bluetooth listening device studded with either pink or clear, genuine Swarovski crystals. It fits neatly and comfortably into your ear. It is unobtrusive, much smaller than the typical, “Star Trek” type Bluetooth devices–but it’s just as effective. It looks more like ear jewelry, than something you use on a mobile phone.

The device comes packaged in a tin with clear window, along with a small instruction book, USB charger cord, a thin ear “hook” and two other earbud sizes (you get small, medium and large). Setup was incredibly easy (after charging the battery in the headset for a couple of hours) and it’s super-easy to operate. The sound is clear and the cell phone talk time is up to 6 hours, whiile “standby” time lasts up to 200 hours. The ChicBuds’s cord retracts into the cord catcher, so that only the earbuds are left hanging out. When the cord is out, a belt clip keeps it from getting in your way. ChicBuds keep things so tidy, you will never lose or wrestle with a loose cord, again. When you’re ready to stow the cord, simply tug on both ends of the ChicBuds and the cord retreats into the cord catcher! I had a little trouble at first getting the cord to retract properly because the action is so responsive, but I quickly got the hang of it (if your cord tangles, pull on both ends of the unit and it will “correct” itself.
