Conair InfinitiPro 1875 Watt Orange Power, Baby!

July 28, 2010 By: Alison Blackman AdviceSisters

You may think it’s hard to get all excited about a hair dryer, but frankly, I am! The one in the photo above, the Infiniti Pro by Conair™ 1875-Watt Salon-Performance AC Motor Styling Tool, got my attention right away, not just because of it’s bright, orange color, but also because this particular hair dryer has power, and neutralizing ions that that seal the hair cuticle. The 1875 watts gives you a lot of power to dry your hair fast (because you have better things to do than sit all day and wait for your hair to dry), thanks to ceramic technology. But it also means that you will get softer, smoother hair, with less frizz and more shine.

You see, a hair dryer is something we generally take for granted. Most of us own at least one, and once it’s in our home, we just forget about it’s features, or the fact that like any technology, hair dryer improvements continue to make themselves available to the general public. There are some real plusses to come with the Infiniti Pro by Conair™ 1875-Watt Salon-Performance AC Motor Styling Tool that may just have you thinking about ditching your old dryer, and getting this new one.

For starters, it is designed with an easy to grip (ergonomic) handle. Although it gives you salon-style power thanks to a big, AC motor, it is lighter (2.55 lbs.) than the type your stylist wields in the salon. It’s still not a lightweight, but it’s a lot lighter (15-20%) lighter (and quieter), than the older, pro-style dryers. It is built to last, but it still has a four year limited warranty.

Other pro-style details include a really good, Two cold shot button to lock in curls, waves & style. Unlike ordinary cool shot buttons that make you wait until they get cool, never cold, this one actually send a quick blast of cold air.Two rocker switches control three heat settings, and 2 speed settings.
A removable filter prevents damaging lint buildup and extends motor life . The cord is substantial and long enough to swirl the dryer around your head without yanking out the plug.

There are two concentrator attachments that supposedly let you achieve a wide variety of styles, but in all honesty, I couldn’t figure out which did what. I just picked one when I needed a concentrator nozzle, and that seemed to work fine.
Now, here’s the best part: This amazing dryer is just $34.00 and is available nationwide mass market retailers and drug stores/ If you’re already bringing your old dryer to the trash, I don’t blame you. This new Conair dryer is a must-have tool for anyone who uses a hair dryer.

I liked the conair commercial for this dryer, so I’m sharing it with you (I was not paid to put this on my blog–I just think it is a fun commercial and thought you might enjoy it, too).
