I’m a makeup addict. Give me lipstick, eyeshadow, or novel mascara and I’m so excited! I never tire of reviewing makeup. I’m not joking! So when I began to put together a Fall color cosmetics feature there were three items that really caught my eye. Orbal Cosmetics is a new company with a stunning eye shadow palette as its debut product. Essence Cosmetics has affordable trend cosmetics such as an awesome Ph glitter lipstick. Besame Cosmetics has the cutest packaging and they take you back to the 1920’s with a cute cake mascara in a tin that even those with sensitive eyes can wear. Here are the details:
New and Coveted Shadow Palette!
Orbal Cosmetics debuts with a collection of eyeshadows so stunning I wonder how they will top this in the future. These colors are the ones you will reach for again and again. Revel in the intense matte shadows, or glam yourself in one swipe with their sophisticated litter shadows.
The eyeshadows are cruelty-free and vegan. Moreover, the shadows blend with a fingertip and the glitter stays where you put it. This is a coveted color collection add to your Fall eye shadow wardrobe. I will be using it from Fall to forever!
Rana Abukhalil founded Orbal Cosmetics in 2019 and wanted to create high-quality products at reasonable prices. This entire eyeshadow palette is just $45 for 18 gorgeous shades, 9 mattes, and 9 glitters.
You probably can’t read the color names in my photo but they are:
Top Row: Early Spark, Vegas, #OrbalFav, Like a Doll, Rusty Penny, and Ash Tray.
Middle row: Celadon Next Level, Henna, Burnt Rose, Cold Orange, and Old Lace
Bottom Row: Tawny, As Ia, Obsessed, Deepest, Rusty, and Kohl.

The Essence of Easy Lip Color:
I’ve always been more than a little obsessed with lipsticks that change with the pH of your skin. Glimmer Glow by Essence Cosmetics checks all the boxes for fun, flattering and frankly, inexpensive. The clear bullet is filled with little glitter particles (no microplastic particles, parabens PEGS, or mineral oil). It’s a party in a tube! But when you apply the lipstick it transforms into a soft rose tone.
The tint lasts quite a long time. The lipstick has a fruity (but not obnoxious) scent.
This essence lipstick is oil-free and alcohol-free. Essence says that there is no animal testing. Check out the rose-tone on my lips. Love it love it love it! Color is fun to play with, and this little lipstick adds plenty of fun to your day.
Essence is available in many places. I found this lipstick for $3.99 on amazon but you’ll also find Essence Cosmetics in Mass Market retailers.
Everything Old is New Again!
I have always had a thing for cake mascara. It simply colors your natural lashes without weighing them down with silicones, fragrances, waxes, or fibers. It is travel-friendly, eco-friendly, and multi-tasking (use on brows and as a liner, too).
This classic cake mascara is applied with a little brush and a bit of water. Besame was inspired by a product from the 1920s. It’s especially great for those with sensitive eyes. Besame claims that it is the cleanest form of mascara on the market. This water-activated product doesn’t harbor or grow bacteria so it lasts longer than the typical tube mascara.
Our sample shown in the photo with tin and brush is the Black Cake Mascara 1920 Special Holiday Batch arriving ins September ($25) The tin is cute and not just recyclable but refillable. The one thing I’d like even more is if it arrived in a compact with a mirror and a place to put the included little brush. You can also use disposable spiral wands or your favorite brush if you prefer.
Cake Mascara just has a cool glam factor. Actresses (even Marilyn Monroe) used it. This one from Besame is also Cruelty-free ‖ Paraben-free ‖ Gluten-free ‖ Mineral-Oil free ‖ Vegan ‖ and Sustainably Made in California.
Once you discover cake mascara you’ll realize that once it dries, it really stays put. It takes a bit of practice to get the consistency just right with the right amount of water. Once you do, you’ll be in lash heaven! For more information visit Besame Cosmetics.
