I pride myself on my high quality, comprehensive, editorial, but sometimes I feel the need to just shout out a quick “check this out” without so much formality. So I’m adding a Weekly Obsession to the Advice Sisters Website. This particular column will just be a to the point piece about something I really like. My plan is to put up one special person, place or thing, each week. Do you like this ideas? I’d love to hear your comments. Many thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.
Alison Blackman, (Chief cook & bottle washer…or maybe just “Chief”) The Advice Sisters
Recently, at a health and beauty media expo, I discovered a company called Devigi. “Devigi” means “compel” (in Esperato no less). The designers believe that just because you don’t have a bikini ready body, doesn’t mean that you can’t look good while you’re working towards your goals, whatever they are. What I love about this line of sports/yoga/lounging wear is that whether you’re running a marathon, running for the bus, running at the gym, or running after a toddler, you’ll look good and feel good in their flattering sports and/or yoga/casual designs.
The tops above are my first weekly obsession! This is the long seleeved Beleco top. “Beleco” means beauty in Esperanto. The soft, drape-y fabric skims over curves and doesn’t just stick to them. The design drapes across the midsection providing a flattering fit for all body types. The three inch band around the hip assures the top does not ride up during runs, stretch, or the most extreme of Zumba moves. The fabric is made with over 50% bamboo (sustainable–great~) and it just feels luxurious against your skin. There is also some poly and spandex for durability. You can throw this in the washing machine and the dryer. No worries!
There are three lovely colors, but coral is my favorite, and a perfect colors for the Spring and Summer.
Because of the blousing style of the Beleco tops, there is significant fit flexibility in sizing. I went up a size on this top so it would be more blousy, but a smaller size would still fit and give a lovely look.
In general:
XS = 0-2
S = 4-6
M = 8-10
L = 12-14
XL = 16-18
I can sum up this Devigi Beleco top in three words: “Mi amas vin.” (that means: “I love you” in Esperanto)
Visit www.devigi.com and let the Beleco top become your obsession!
I found out about Devigi at Balance gym in Chestnut Hill Pa and bought the top shirt and bottom pants for my wife. Sorry not sure what you call the tops and bottoms ladies. My wife loves the feel of the fabric on her skin and she looks insanely hot in them. She says the pants make her feel more fit and she can workout and do her shopping right after. When I saw this article I thought I should let you know, thanks for more info. John
