these are the AVYA products I tried in my previous AVYA story, including the two tinted moisturizers you will love.
You don’t have to be from India to celebrate Diwali. But for those of you who don’t know what Diwali is, it’s the Indian “festival of lights celebrating the triumph of good over evil. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 24. Though technically religious, it’s also become a cultural event in North America that’s celebrated with sweets and special foods. Since sweets are a way to celebrate Diwali, I’m including a recipe for one easy-to-do goodie you can make. Avya Ayurvedic Skincare sent advicesisters.com some beautiful sweets for Diwali, along with a gorgeous scarf in red and pink (you can see some of the detail in my photos).
The best part of the gift though? One of Avya Skincare’s tinted moisturizers! I wrote about them not too long ago when I initially tried some of their clean beauty skincare.
Do Something Good for Your Skin with Avya’s Tinted Moisturizer:
Whether you’re celebrating Diwali or just going outside every day, AVYA has travel-friendly pump top tubes of Hydroveda Sheer Tinted Moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 40. The actives are 2% titanium dioxide and 1% zinc oxide. There are currently two colors: #1 is for Fair/Light skin tones and #2 is for Medium skin tones. But honestly, these are sheer and blendable, so most people can wear either. The mineral pigments provide just a hint of tint. I tried both colors and found that the light was just slightly lighter.
These are infused with hydrating/moisturizing hyaluronic acid. Plus there is good for your skin, antioxidant green chai extract, apple extract, Vitamin C, and soothing oat extract. This makes the Avya-tinted moisturizer more skin-loving than the ordinary SPF-tinted moisturizer. While they’re not a replacement for foundation, they do a lot. You may feel you don’t need to reach for a more opaque foundation on informal days. I love it! For more information on Avya Skincare visit https://www.avyaskincare.com/
