The days may still be Wintry and dreary, but I felt an immediate sense that Spring will be here any day, when I tried the sunny, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue By Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme. The happy, uplifting fragrance is categorized as a fruity floral, inspired by the Mediterranean. In fact, to my nose it’s a very light fruit with hints of fruit and also, sensual woods. Actually, that does describe a Mediterranean feeling. Upon drydown the scent lingers, but it is subtle. Top notes are: Sicilian cedar, granny smith apple, bluebell, (sunny Sicilian Summer) Middle notes, bamboo, jasmine and white rose, bottom: citron wood, amber and musk.
I tried the Refreshing Body Cream, a perfect pick me up for dry, Winter weary skin. You can’t help but feel confident that the product will not only smell good, but silken you skin, when you touch the light blue, velvety surface of the outer carton– soft as a whisper. The baby blue color and soft touch reminds you that you are a lady, and your skin should be that way, too.
The Body cream inside is very silky in texture but it doesn’t a film on your skin. So you can slather it on, and go about your day (or evening). The plastic, flip-top tube makes it (somewhat portable). At least you won’t worry that it will fall and shatter in your bathroom. .
The Refreshing Body Cream is $45.00 6.7 fl. oz. other bath & body products range fro, $18.00- $40.00 The Eau de Toilette runs $57.50 for 1.7 fl. oz., 480.00 3.4 l. oz.
If you like Light Blue, there’s also a men’s version, although it is heavier on the woods and a bit more tart on the top notes.
Dolce & Gabbana’s scent are not only delicious, they’re unique. You won’t find your special scent on just about everyone…you will feel pampered, and special! You can find Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue one in fine department stores, nationwide.
