Ladies, time to pair up!   M•A•C Cosmetics launches Fashion Sets, a collection of bright shades that (as the press information fancifully describes it) “pop with a vivid edge and modern vibe. Four distinctive sets feature five impactful ways to wear Lipstick, Lipglass, Lip Pencil, Eye Shadow and Nail Lacquer. There’s always something to love in every new M-A-C- collection, and this one is no exception. But don’t grab your pearls, grab your makeup brushes, because you’re in for a fun time. Fashion sets are not  your momma’s twin sets, and they’re not colors for the shy. Four different shades translate into opaque, intense, creamy, bold, and mix and match for wild to mild. . One of the lipsticks (and we heard this from a reputable source) tells us this is a hot collection and one of the lipsticks (“Ablaze”)  is already sold out online, and extremely hard to get elsewhere. We understand!  Ablaze is a matte coral that is moistly matte, and absolutely on-trend for warmer weather. But we glossed it over with the “Silly” lipglass in a  bright pink cream, and created a totally different look. We felt like the inside of a Barbie dream house when we added the “Heroine”  eye shadow in bright cobalt blue matte, plus tons of liner and mascara (M-A-C’s of course).

While we didn’t try much of the collection, we totally get the idea that these are bold, and bright, and cheerful, and they stand on their own, but you can mix and match to make the look, unique to you. Mix, match, play, love!
