Dove for Dudes: As a long time reviewer of beauty products, I’ll let you in on a secret: men really DO covet beauty products, they just don’t really want to use YOURS. It’s not just the fruity, floral or girly scents that turn them off, or the sensation of some of the formulas ladies love, but feel alien to men, it’s the fact that a man’s skin is thicker than a woman’s and the guys have additional skincare issues to deal with (e.g. ingrown hairs, skin irritation from shaving, etc). Dove, for Everyone: While I’m on my Dove review, there’s also a new, premium line of body washes for women (but guys can use them too) called: Dove VisibleCare Creme Body Washes (srp. $8.29 18 fl. oz.). These products are not just cleansers, they are supposed to give women visibly more beautiful skin (and help promote skin’s elasticity) in just one week (with continued use, even better in 3 weeks). I don’t know if my skin was really more beautiful, but it definitelywas softer and felt less dry and itchy! You can get Dove VisibleCare Creme Body Washes in two types: Renewing, and Softening . Both are extremely hydratin. When you dry off after bathing, you really can feel the difference, thanks to the fact that these are NutriumMoisture-infused crèmes. Just FYI: Nutrium itself is an oil derived from soy beans, and some think it could replace traditional vegetable oil as a healthier alternative (to eat), but as of now it’s not in anything you’d want to eat, just in DOVE products. The lightly scented, pearly liquid lathers nicely and rinses clean.

I liked the gracefully tapered plastic bottle in light green, with a big flip top that lets you stand this bottle up firmly on a bathub or sink.
