Now There’s a New Device That Treats Dry Eyes, Differently

November 25, 2021 By: Alison Blackman

Every now and then something comes across my desk that is so interesting, I need to try it. One such device is NuLids. It’s an at-home treatment that is unlike any other I’ve seen to treat symptoms of dry eyes.  If you suffer from dry, itchy eyes you’ll want to read this review.

Nifty New NuLids Treats Dry Eyes:

this is a stock photo edited by alison blackman for NuLids Every now and then something comes across my desk that is so interesting, I need to try it and share it with my readers and followers. NuLids is an At-home treatment that is unlike any other I’ve seen to treat symptoms of dry eyes. There are gels and liquids and other things that can help, but they don’t help to clear up eye issues longer term.  Dry eyes are a serious problem, especially since we’re always staring at computer screens and phones.

What Is NuLids?

Despite the name, the device won’t replace your eyelids! NuLids is an all-natural FDA Registered, daily at-home DIY treatment device you use with a gel, designed specifically to reduce the signs and symptoms associated with blepharitis and dry eyes. You might not know the Blepharitis, but you might still have suffered from it. Blepharitis is inflammation usually along the edges of the eyelids. It often happens when some tiny oil glands near the base of the eyelashes become clogged, causing irritation and redness

How to Use NuLids:

it takes just a minute, literally to help your eyes function at their best

Charge up the device, which is about the size of an electric toothbrush. Then insert one of the 30 button-sized NuLid tips ((included–refills are available). Add a pea-sized drop of gel to the tip. Close your eye. Run the NuLid device back and forth for 30 seconds (there is a pause every 15). Then do the other eye. The total treatment time for two eyes is just 1 minute. Throw out the used NuLid Tip.

If you really wanted to, you could use the included gel without the NuLids device. Apply a pea-sized amount on clean eyelids (closed) and run your finger back and forth over the lid margins 20 times.

What does all of this do? It removes dead skin cells, activates oil glands, removes bacteria and makeup, and; helps prevent dry eyes. To use the technical jargon on the NuLids press release(verbatim):   “NuLids is clinically proven to be safe and effective for removal of biofilm and scurf that occlude the openings of the meibomian glands. These glands are responsible for producing the lipid layer of the tear film. In studies, lipid deficiency is the leading cause of dry eye disease (86% of all cases). In addition, the gentle massaging action of the NuLids Daily Disposable Tip may stimulate capillary perfusion at the lid margins and contribute to overall better eyelid health.”

The Bottom Line/Results:

NuLids says that some people see results typically in a month. At the time I’m writing this story I haven’t used NuLids long enough to experience the end of my dry eyes. However, after just a few treatments my eyes felt somehow, clearer. Even my lashes looked better, having been released from residual mascara, glitter, eyeshadow, eye cream, etc.

I am one of those who have super-sensitive eyes and can’t use most drops and gels. But I am really liking NuLids.  This might not be for everyone as it isn’t inexpensive, but this device takes the treatment of dry eyes and  Bhepharitis a step beyond. A starter set of NuLids with the device, charger gel, and 30 tips  ($329). For more information visit https://nulids.com/
