The DynaTrap is crafted with a UV fluorescent bulb that generates a warm light, attracting insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, produces CO2 (the same gas we emit when we exhale) that’s irresistible to mosquitoes.
Finally, a powerful, yet quiet vacuum fan sucks insects into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die. A unique twist on/off feature ensures that any insects still alive in the retaining cage will not escape when the trap is turned off.
You may think it’s cruel to trap insects, but when they are swarming in your face or biting you, you have to reconsider. It isn’t any worse to smash an insect with a flyswatter or zap them with electricity and fry them.
Plug and Play:
The DynaTrap DT250IN is reasonably quiet. It’s also pesticide and odor-free so it’s safe around the entire family. Basically, you just plug it in and it goes to work right out of the box. The unit has a 7-foot cord and it’s rated for up to 3,000 hours (replacement bulbs are available). To remove the insects you simply twist off the bottom, empty it, and start it up again. All you have to do is find a place to put the 5.8 x 12.4 inch, 2.3 lb. unit. This one seems to be the perfect size to handle a large room.
