There is so much to say about Eyes on MAC, the new M.A.C. Cosmetics collection launching in March, that I’d need more than one feature to go through all the colors.
Instead of making you scroll down through line after line of descriptions of these amazing eye shadow palettes, each with 9 carefully curated rounds of color (2 palettes with 15 rounds of neutral warm and cool colors), I’m simply posting the list with some of my own personal photos.
But to summar-EYES (pun intended), the collection will delight collectors and people who really love playing with color, and experimenting with different formulas and on-trend ideas.
Eyes on MAC Eye Shadow x 9 Palettes:
I tried two of the Eye Shadow x 9 palettes – I selected the two that I think are most unusual and perhaps challenging for conservative shadow lovers to embrace.
But they’re also the ones that inspire you to be creative and fall in love with experimenting with color.
“Tropic Cool Times Nine” has an enchanted garden array of greens, blues, grays, and a stunning lime green plus sunny yellow added for your delight.
“Red Hot Times Nine” palette has with coral, medium true pink, and hot pink as the stars, with three purple-centric tones (plum deep plum, and deep royal purple) plus a peach, a light mauve and an off white for accents).
Work It With Products from the M.A.C. Work it Out Collection.
These really work well with the bold, bright Eye Pencils and mascaras of the M.A.C. Work it Out Collection. My photos shows only a few of the mascaras and eye pencils in this collection, there are many more.

These palettes, especially when paired with the colored eye pencils and mascaras of the M.A.C. Work it Out Collection, are not for the shrinking violet (no pun intended).
But while the result can be a bit shocking because the looks aren’t “traditional,” they’re also trendy, playful, fun!
Less Wild, Still Beautiful
The rest of the palettes in the collection are little more mild, but still full of different formulas, textures, and ways to experiment.

The collection is available starting from March 2nd online at MACosmetics.com, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s.
