Fire Up Your Libido With FIERA, an intimacy enhancing device for women!
When “not tonight, I’m just not feeling it” turns into weeks, and months, that basic, intimate connection between partners is broken. But it’s hard to fake desire.
Along with being the Publisher and Editor in Chief of advicesisters.com, I’m the co-publisher and Editor in Chief of leatherandlaceadvice.com, n intimacy and relationship-advice website. We get so many letters from readers who feel that lack of intimacy is a personal failure, when nothing could be further from the truth. If you are one of the many women who for whatever reason just has lost that lovin’ feeling, you’re not alone. There are over 53 million women in the US whose libidos have taken a long rest. The reasons are many: stress; overwork; normal changes associated with pregnancy; breastfeeding; menopause; lack of sleep; relationship boredom; child rearing, or may the reason is something unique to you. No matter what the reason, lack of desire is a relationship issue that can’t be ignored.
Until recently, there were potions and lotions, and other things that supposedly enhanced romance, but few of them really worked very well or consistently, but Last Summer I attended the introduced of the Fiera® Arouser for Her™ What makes Fiera exciting is that it is supposedly clinically proven to enhance sexual arousal and interest, and leave you looking forward to sex. And Fiera is a pretty pink device that literally fits in the palm of your hand.
At the launch, there were experts to inspire and talk about how women should empower themselves and give themselves permission to be sexual beings. But more importantly, how important it is for women to understand the issues and needs of their own bodies. At the time of the launch last Summer, Fiera wasn’t available for testing. Just recently, one landed in my mailbox.
I have been criticized by certain family ranking sites for writing about adult items from time to time, and for even using certain works (e.g. “sexy” to describe a fragrance –oops I did it again)! This is my site, and I am responsible for what I write about. Perhaps some of you will find this squirm-worthy (don’t let your little girls read this post if you don’t want them to ask questions), but then again, learning about Fiera might help some of my readers change their lives for the better, forever. I’ll take the chance. If Fiera actually works as well as it is scientifically proven to do, it can potentially make a lot of women feel better about themselves, and perhaps about their relationships with their partners.
So what is Fiera? Looking at it on it’s face, it is just a small, pink and white plastic device with a rubbery ring around the top and some simple controls. It’s meant to be worn on your very private parts, and the press literature is both tasteful and full of tech-speak so I’m just going to cut through all of that.
As far as I can decipher all of this, the main way Fiera lights your fire is to offer a proprietary, dual-action technology (gentle suction) focusing around the clitoris to enhance blood flow to the area. I might suggest that oral sex has a similar action (if done correctly), but Fiera is a one-woman operation. To get your motor running down there, it’s totally hands-free. Once you position Fiera it literally fastens itself to your body and does it’s thing. The entire unit is only about the size of a mini-sized computer mouse.
Positioning the Fiera takes a little finesse. Fiera should be tucked under the labia and worn over the clitoris, but if it isn’t placed properly the suction won’t make a vacuum and make any suction. And it’s the suction that brings the blood flow and makes you excited. To help personalize the fit, the Fiera comes with two SofSense rings (choose the one that works best). These SofSense rings are designed for 3-5 uses each and should be replaced regularly for best performance. *the company suggests applying a small amount of water or water-based lubricant on and around the clitoris and labia, and along the edge of the SofSense ring prior to placement to achieve the best seal. Silicone-based lubricants should not be used with Fiera, as they will degrade the SofSense ring.
The instructions are to wear it for 5-15 minutes and then remove it. There are different levels of intensity but none are knocking your socks off, all are pleasant. The gentle suction around the entire genital area brings blood there to fan the flames of desire along with stimulating vaginal lubrication to help build excitement . For those who really need more stimulation, I suppose thinking about something sexy or listening to a sexy audio book or music wouldn’t hurt …that’s totally optional, of course. But the point is that this is supposed to make your feel friskier and ready for sex.
If all of this sounds sexy, fine, but understand that Fiera isn’t a vibrator or a personal pleasure object that brings you to orgasm. Maybe it could, but that isn’t the point of it. It is just supposed to get you excited enough to want to then get it on with your partner and potentially have more intense orgasms that way.
Should you use Fiera with your partner watching? Maybe not, at least at first. The press literature says to try Fiera on your own, at least until you are used to it. If honesty is the best policy and you haven’t been intimate with your partner for a while, I think I would at least mention that I was trying out a new device (otherwise your newly ignited desire might seem suspect). You might mention you got a Fiera, use it a few times solo, and then incorporate it into play with a partner. If you are single and hoping to mingle, that’s another story.
The Fiera is a hands-free device. Once it’s position it will stay there until you dislodge it by just pulling it away from your body. I would assume (as the company asserts) that if you used Fiera regularly, you would have an increased/renewed interest in sex and intimacy. It is all natural–no drugs or other products involved. It is made with body-safe, soft materials that are phthalate-free (clean with soap and water). It uses rechargeable batteries. It has a pattern and intensity settings so you can personalize it to your needs and it’s quiet so you won’t wake the neighbors or the kids. You don’t need a doctor’s prescription or even a doctor’s visit. Any woman who is healthy can use it. If there is a downside at all it’s the $250.00 price tag. — but if intimacy with your partner is on the line, it could be priceless!
*since the writing of this review, Fiera seems to have almost disappeared from the marketplace. However you can find other devices that might increase your libido and enhance your intimate life on https://www.leatherandlaceadvice.com/spice
