Amazing Clubs Have Great Foodie Gifts:
Bodacious Bagels:
Who doesn’t love foodie gifts, and who doesn’t love bagels? Amazing Clubs sent me a pitch through PitchBox Media and I couldn’t resist. This gourmet gifts of the month club website has a gazillion different gifts for people of all interests, ages, and dietary needs from beer (and wine) to baking and sweets. There are so many different types. There is even a lobster club! But the bagel of the month club says that their bagels are “authentic New York Bagels.”
As a former New Yorker, I can tell you that these definitely are the real thing. The ones of my youth were small, with a crispy outside and soft fragrant insides. But those bagels disappeared entirely by the time I was in High School. Now, New York Bagels are large and full of different flavors. Our sample (see photo above), for example, featured two bags of four multigrain bagels, and two bags of four pumpkin bagels with pumpkin seeds on the top. I froze two (bagels freeze easily) but we ate the others and they were both delish!
You can send three delicious months of four sets of bagels for $164.85 *prices go down as the number of months you choose goes up. You can’t choose the types of bagels. However, you can choose the frequency and when you want the deliveries to begin. Send your gift announcement by mail or email and if you’re running low on gifting time, send your own. Your recipient will get a notice of the gift and delivery information. The clubs are all in different price ranges.
Amazing Beer of the Month Club:
We also received a beer of the month club sample. If you aren’t sure what to get a special guy who drinks beer, this of-the-month club is a surefire winner. Our editorial samples featured a dozen bottles of Shipyard Beer brand products. A dozen bottles once, or for months, is great news for your lucky recipient. You can send 3 months for just $45.95/month for a total of $137.85. If you know someone who loves beer, the opportunity to try 3 of each of some specific brands. It’s a gift that keeps giving each month. I personally love these! The people on your gift list will love them, too. Visit the Amazing Clubs Website.
St-Germain Cocktails Made très élégant:
St.-Germain is a French liquor that can be used in many ways, but mostly in Champagne or sparkling wine cocktails. The liquor is made with wild, handpicked elderflowers using a process that has existed for centuries. Each bottle of St-Germain is numbered and marked with the vintage year that reflects the year in which the flowers were harvested. A bottle (approx $35) makes the holidays a bit more elegant and is a great gift. The taste on its own is slightly floral, with citrus, passionfruit, and pear. So much of what we smell is what we taste! The sumptuous palate serves up a caramel-doused summer peach, and the finish is clean, white petals in a bounty of texture.
However, if you really want to impress, the St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur + The Royale Dash ($250+) is definitely one of the fantastic foodie gifts you can choose. Just a press of the Le Royale Dash simultaneously dispenses the perfect dash of St-Germain elderflower liqueur into two Champagne flutes to create a classic Royale cocktail. Surrounding the bottle of St-Germain are holders for garnishes (e.g. berries).
Recipe for the St~Germain Royale Cocktail
With or without the special server, here is how to make the St-Germain Royale Cocktail:
¾ oz St~Germain elderflower liqueur
5-6 oz Champagne
Blackberry To Garnish
Directions:
Pour St‑Germain into a chilled Champagne glass.
Top with Champagne.
Light stir.
Garnish with a blackberry by placing it on the rim of the glass.

War Pig BBQ Rub:
Give your favorite grill master an 11.5 oz. jar of War Pig BBQ Bullzooka Elite BBQ Rub ($10). What makes this rub special isn’t just the taste, which boosts your beef to new levels. It’s that War Pig BBQ is a competitive BBQ team founded by veterans and they support good causes such as the lone survivor foundation, and PTSD Foundation.
Their tee shirts and other gear are great, too. If you’re looking for a big gift get some gear and some BBQ sauce and the Bullzooka. For a smaller one of your foodie gifts just send this large jar of this dry rub. This has become a favorite in my house and I’m sure it will be in yours, too. Why not add one to every stocking? Totally Delicious Nepal Tea:
Nepal is such an exotic place. But you don’t have to go climbing Mount Everest to get a taste of the country, just get Nepal Tea. This lovely re-useable straw pouch from Nepal tea contains Kumari Gold organic black tea from the Kanchenjunga tea estate ($14). It’s the first organic Certified Tea Garden in Nepal. It’s located in eastern Nepal bordering the tea area of Darjeeling. When it comes to festive foodie gifts, tea drinkers love to try something exotic and unique.
But that’s not the only reason to gift someone this unusual tea in a cute pouch. The USDA Organic, CERES-certified loose tea has high caffeine content. But don’t be fooled, it’s not bitter or harsh. This tea has caramel and brown sugar aromas and notes of honey and baked fruits. 1.7 oz. tea makes a charming little gift for a hostess or a thank-you. You can get more of this tea, and others, in larger quantities without the pouch, too.
The Nepal Tea Website has added QR codes to its labels. When scanned, each code offers the consumer info on the Nepalese farm where the tea leaves were grown and when the particular bag of tea was plucked, packaged, and shipped. That’s just so cool! Get all the details about the tea and also about Kumari Gold on the Nepal Tea Website.
Infused Oils and More, Oh My!
A late entry into this foodie gifts story is a beautifully boxed set of infused olive oils by Vignoli Italian Food Anthology. Their unique Extra Virgin Olive Oil is delicious, but the polyphenols in the oil can help you to reduce cholesterol, prevent aging, and protect you from heart disease. There are 12 different tasting sets of oils. Our editorial sample was the Citrus Meets Savory Infused Olive Oil tasting Set ($60.00).
This set arrives in a substantial cardboard carrying case decorated with citrus and savory ingredients. The box showcases the colorful labels on four popular infused extra virgin olive oils popular for home cooking. There’s Black Garlic and a sensual White Truffle. For citrus lovers, there is a Meyer Lemon and a delicious Blood Orange. When you open the bottles, just the aroma alone will send you into foodie overdrive. If healthy eating is something you want to do, these olive oils will add so much more to your salads, vegetables, pasta, and even on popcorn or flatbreads and so much more.
The Vignoli Food Anthology website also has vinegar and other gourmet foods. The site is literally mouthwatering and full of festive foodie gifts. Just one bottle of delicious infused oil ($17) would make a great gift and a great stocking stuffer. Therefore, four or more make it the heavenly foodie gift of the year! You can also design your own gift set if you wish.
