Foreo is well known for it’s great skincare devices. In fact. advicesisters.com recently reviewed the Foreo UFO 3. the device for heated face masks. We’ve reviewed other Foreo devices in the past as well. But now I’ve received the Foreo Iris 2, a device that is a rejuvenating eye massager. I was so excited to try this! It claims to depuff, brighten and revive your eye area in just one minute,
According to Foreo, IRISTM 2 is a” non-invasive, quick, effective, and ultra-hygienic eye massaging device inspired by ancient finger-tapping lymphatic drainage techniques practiced in Asia.” This is coupled with FOREO’s patented T-SonicTM massage pulsations. It really feels like fluttering butterfly wings around your eye area. It set me thinking: “Who wouldn’t want to use something quick, easy and that can help to reduce some common signs of aging around the eyes, such as under-eye bags, dark circles, and crow’s feet?”
Make Your Eye Products Work Better:
Along with the visible benefits, I like the idea that the IRISTM 2 increases the absorption of your eye creams in the eye area. The website says this is a whopping 84% – pushing them deep into the skin, where they work best. As someone with sensitive skin and eyes, I can do more with less product and I love this. The IRIS2 device itself is made of hygienic bacteria-resistant silicone that is soft on your skin (sort of like the soft silicone of your –ahem– personal pleasure objects). It is waterproof and is available in three colors: light pink, dark pink, and turquoise. There are also two speeds, but neither is obnoxiously intense.
Good for Travel:
Why leave your eyecare at home? Another bonus is that the Iris2 is easy to travel with. It is slim, lightweight, and wireless. You can lock it. And, once charged, you can get up to 150 uses per USB charge.

As I always say, my skin isn’t like yours or anyone else’s. We are all unique. I liked the Foreo IRIS2 so much I’ve been using it twice a day and have noticed a lot less puffiness and lighter skin under my eyes. As you probably know, I review a lot of products. Many of them I use for a while and then just give up on them. Not the FOREO Iris2. This one is a keeper! With regular use, you possibly could find that the Foreo IRIS2 is:
– 3.5x more effective at reducing under-eye bags.
– Helps reduce crow’s feet & fine lines by 43%.

I don’t know about you, but my smartphone is full of apps that I need to work on one device. if I don’t use the device often, it just sits there taking up space or worse, battery life. the IRIS2 can be used without an app to get you through the eyecare routine. The device itself has a 30-second timer to tell you when to move to the other eye. However. if you add the IRIS2 to the existing Foreo app you can learn about correct placement and how to clean the device after use.
Travel Lock + How to Use the IRIS2:
One thing you need to be aware of is that there is a travel lock on the device. If you press the + and – buttons you will unlock it and your device will be good to go. The device itself is fairly intuitive. But here are the step-by-step instructions:
STEP 1: Unlock device – Unlock your device by pressing down the + and – buttons together, until the indicator light on the bottom of your device flashes.
STEP 2 (optional) – Apply eye care – Start with a clean and dry face. Apply dots of eye cream/serum around your eyes, if desired.
STEP 3 – Turn on – Press the universal button. Adjust the intensity with the + and – buttons. Deactivate pulsations by pressing the universal button again.
STEP 4 – Massage – Here’s where the magic starts. Gently press IRISTM 2 under the inner corner of your eye, and glide under & around the eye contour for 30 sec. Repeat on the opposite eye.
STEP 5 – Turn off- As wonderful as it feels, at some point you’ll want to turn the device off. Press the on-off button in the center. Press and hold for a few seconds and the IRIS2 will stop, the light will also go out.
