Last August, the Advice Sisters reviewed Collosol Eau de Lait born in France in the 1950’s.
Celebrity actresses of the day visited a pharmacy near the Champs-Élysées Theater looking for an anti-fatigue/makeup remover to use after being on stage.
Stage makeup is notoriously difficult to remove. Collosol was created as a gentle half milk-half water formula with a subtle (powdery and light) fragrance in a no-rinse formula.The late Karl Lagerfeld loved it!

Retinopur Retinol Mask:
As warmer weather begins, breakouts tend to increase. Two new products from VIe could help you keep breakouts, large pores and more, under control even if your skin is not usually acne-prone or super-oily.

This gel cleanser arrives in a flip-top tube and morphs with some water into a creamy foam. It feels so luxurious, but it also packs a punch against dirty, grime, sebum, makeup and anything else that might clog your pores and cause breakouts.
Vie claims that after just one use you’ll see fewer pores mattified skin, and less wrinkles. After a month clear skin is yours.
Trio Of Acids:
If you’re not familiar with glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids, they each perform differently.
Glycolic Acid* cleanses and resurfaces while stimulating the productions of collagen and elastin and enhancing
skin hydration.
Lactic Acid* – promotes cell renewal and improves skin quality with anti-inflammatory properties.
You’ll find Salicylic Acid* in many acne preventing products. It’s a powerful astringent and anti-bacterial ingredient that helps to tighten pores while it refines and purifies the skin.

Fleur’s Intense Exfoliating Cream:
This might just be the most luxurious and elegant exfoliating cream ever. Fleur’s Intense Exfoliating Cream ($44/50 ml.) uses fine natural scrubbing particles of silica, plus kaolin clay to absorb impurities, plus hibiscus oil to nourish the skin.
I’m showing you the product on my hand, but used on your face, the result is an exfoliating scrub with just the right blend of sloughing power, plus a very light floral bouquet of Lily of the Valley, Violet, Blackcurrant, Plum plus wooded notes of green leaves and white cedar.
Fleur’s means “flowers.” Fleur’s products use botanicals fruits, florals, minerals and organics for spa products that make you feel super pampered at home. Phytoceane Firming Cream:
Phytoceane products are not just from France, they are closely tied to the sea. In the new Age Solution Firming Cream with Organic Wakame ($77/ 50 ml.) you’ll find that the key ingredient is organic wakame, a seaweed. While this brown seaweed is edible, here it’s being used to boost the skin’s collagen and elastin production.
This product also features Chlorella, a green micro-seaweed that deeply firms up the skin, limits sagging. Another ingredient is Jania Rubens, a red coral plant that hydrates the skin.
After one test, my skin felt very hydrated. However, Phytoceane claims that after a month you will see skin that is twice as plump, elastic, firmed and toned and lifted. It does appear to all “the good stuff” to help you make your skin look and feel much better!
