We personally love easy to use products such as spray mists. One that makes life easier for those with unruly hair and frizz comes from the StriVectin Hair All Smooth collection. We tried it and found that our hair was soft and protected from humidity and frizz (after heat styling) for days longer than with a daily application.

Your hair may feel alarmingly dry when wet (we suggest deep conditioning) but we found in our test that the result was softer, shinier hair that dried faster with perfectly frizz-free results for days.

When There’s No Time/All Else Fails:

Frizzy Hair Fighting Tips From Salon AKS:

1. Don’t rub your hair with a towel to dry – When you use a towel to “scrub” your hair dry, it causes friction which will lead to frizz. Air dry (or blot with a soft cotton tee until hair is 50% dry).

2. Shampoo only a few times a week. Shampoo more often and you strip out the natural oils. Then your body compensates for the oil loss by producing more oil, which usually results in oily roots and dry, frizzy ends. Shampoo less often but shampoo twice, it’ll help combat the oil and let your blowout last longer.

3. Most people with frizzy hair reach for the heaviest product they can find. Don’t use too much or too little and use the one that seems right for your hair. Apply the products when your hair is wet –water adds weight to the hair cuticle and helps it lay flat. Allowing your hair to dry with the weight of the product in it helps keep the cuticle down and frizz at bay.

5. Try something new… If an oil or a serum is your thing, try a cream or a mousse. Even try a soft hold gel.
