G2Organics Nail Polish Remover – Good for You and For the Environment

March 11, 2009 By: Alison Blackman AdviceSisters

If you like to wear nail polish, you also know that you need nail polish remover to take it off. But nail polish remover can be smelly (who really likes the harsh, chemical odor?) and those noxious vapors rise up into the air, where they’re not good for your body, your senses, or the environment. The nail polish by G2Organics, however, may change the way you view this mundane, but necessary, product. The G2 Organic polish is odorless and gentle to your nails, since it’s a non-acetone formula. The product is supplemented With Aloe Vera & Vitamin E, Protects Nails and Cuticles

Another benefit to the G2Organics nail polish is that it is spiritually enhanced,–all bottles are complete with a natural quartz, Reiki-Charged crystal, right in the clear, plastic bottle *Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

On the surface, you might argue that a nail polish remover is just a small item and it doesn’t matter all that much if your nail polish is created with Organic, environmentally friendly ingredients that aren’t tested on animals. However, if you care about your health and the health of those around you, if you want to do your part to care about the environment, if you are sensitive to chemicals, if you have young girls who like to use nail polish products, or you’re pregnant or have other health issues, swabbing and smelling chemicals is not a good thing. Choosing beneficial products is not a small thing at all!

I found that the nail polish was, advertised. It didn’t smell, it didn’t dry out my nails, and it did a decent job of removing my polish. I felt good that I wasn’t grossing out my husband who was stuck in the same room with me. I heard from Creator Cherie Coros (and her partner, Elena Lamari) that the polish remover was used at several shows, backstage, during NYC Fall 2009 Fashion Week. A bottle of G2 organics nail polish remover spilled on some clothes, but, amazingly, the fabric dried without smell or stain!

What’s not to like? The Reiki-charged crystal glittered in the bottom of the bottle and made me feel that I was doing something extra special for myself (anything with positive, healing energy, is a good thing).

On the down side, the polish is pricey, and if you are a fan of glitter polishes and very deep colors, a heavy-duty, acetone-based polish really does make removal, easier. The product is still a good performer that overall, is worthy of your consideration, especially if you change your nail polish often. Even better, a portion of the Proceeds are Donated to The American Cancer Society

This product is truly spectacular! It doesn’t smell, you can actually drink it. With the reike charge, it is calming and soothing too. I highly recommend for all of those moms out there who want to safely keep their fingers and toes looking pretty!

    Good information.

I came across many queries in several forums where people have been asking for advice on the best glue that can be used on nails and that is not only strong but also safe on nails. This was the same question I had sometime back when I used to apply nail gel myself. Initially the glue I got would never hold on the way it used to when done in the salon. I then came across the nail glue being sold on gel-nails which lasts very long and is pretty easy to apply. It provides a strong bonding for my nails and also does a great job in repairing the nail tips.

Most important of all is that this is strong glue I was actually looking out for and this is used by nail salons and nail artists for professional applications. It is available at a cheap price at gel-nails and I remember seeing it at a discount of 74% which is great. Maybe this can help if you also face problems relating to poor glue quality as I did earlier.
