You can from the color descriptions below, and the collection photo above, that there is a wide variety of color options in these trios. It’s easy to see that the popularity of a particular color has a lot to do with skin tones and culture, but there’s something for everyone, from demure nudes and pinks, to deep plum and chocolate. But it’s fun to go outside of your same-old, same-old, and see the beauty and joy of another, beloved color deemed so chic in another country.
My favorite trio is “Russian Red.” A bold red is a must-have, and this one is a clear cherry red that is blue-ish, but clear enough so that it’s universally flattering. It’s bright, but it’s not “bloody” or too orange. Seemingly, like you were born to wear it. If you’re bold lip averse, this is a way to jump into “big red” with both feet, and not feel self-conscious. The lipstick is deep, opaque and matte (but moistly matte, not dry), and it lasts a very long time. When the Summer heat, hits, a matte that manages to stick around, makes the bold lip look, easier to wear.
For fingers and toes, a matching Nail Lacquer in the same, bold, Russian Red, is a must! This is also a long-wear formula that won’t chip quickly. When you’re on the go and enjoying other things, the last thing you need is chipped polish. Red and other bold shades do fade and chip with wear, but this one, like it’s lip-loving sisters, will stick around!
