Although advicesisters.com does plenty of stories on other topics, makeup and skincare are the ones you like to click on a lot! In this story, I’m suggesting 3 good-for-your-skin brands that have beautiful makeup items. Try the elegant, creamy colors of Jafra Cosmetics’ Royal Lipsticks. Thrive Causmetics has wonderful vegan Lip Tints and Lip Liners and they give back to women in need. The clean beauty fruit-pigmented cosmetics of 100% Pure have made a fan out of me!
Jafra Lipsticks with Royal Jelly:

The Colors:
The lipsticks offer intense creamy color and nourishment for your lips in one tube. I felt the dreamy and creamy softening as I was applying my first test which was Regal Rose. These definitely are luxe lipsticks. Jafra has a large collection of skincare, makeup, fragrance, and sun products. They also have a lot of holiday gift sets. Take a look! https://www.jafra.com/
Thrive Causemetics Has Great Good-For-Your-Lips Tints!
Also good for your lips is this lip balm and lip liner from Thrive Causemetics. This is a brand dedicated to its giving mission, “Bigger than Beauty” They help women in need with every purchase focusing on different campaigns throughout the year. I love the Sheer Strength Hydrating Lip Tints ($26/each). The one in my first photo above is called: “Anna.” It’s a cheery cherry red.
There are 5 universally flattering shades plus clear. these have a 24-Hour Moisture Lock Complex™ so it instantly hydrates but also keep lips soft over time. The swivel-up lip balms add more than a hint of tint if you layer them. While you do, lots of good for your skin botanical oils and butters that moisturize and condition your skin. Therefore if you use them you’ll get softer better lips over time.
The Colors:
Of course, these lip tints are 100% vegan + cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances. Therefore, I want all of these! For more intense color and to define lips, add a Lip Liner (ours in the cosmetics photo is “Maya,” a deep blue-red) that slides on without a struggle. 100% Pure Beautiful Clean Beauty Cosmetics:
When you’re looking for a top to a bottom makeup makeover that’s clean beauty, 100% Pure has it! We recently reviewed their Bakuchiol cleanser and moisturizer. Bakuchiol is a plant-based alternative to retinol.
The card above the 100% Pure makeup in my photo says “Beauty That’s Better to Wear Than NOT to Wear.” The products are 100% organic and natural. Hence the name 100$ Pure. I probably don’t have to tell you that these are vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. but I will anyway. Also, instead of mineral pigments or artificial colors, this makeup is dyed with fruit`!
The Fruit Pigmented® 2nd Skin Foundation ($48) is one of several. It’s super-light and is medium to full coverage. I love the look. However, with just 7 colors, this foundation doesn’t have a wide range of colors for darker skin tones. The foundation also is for normal skin. Therefore, this didn’t look that great when it settled into some dry patches on my skin. The olive squalane and pure fruit pigments make it a nice choice if you don’t have any skin issues.
The Colors:
I really love the Lip Caramel ($28) colored with achiote seeds and fruit pigments. There are 6 colors. Our editorial sample was “Cherry Cordial.” This is a glorious, rich, deep, sexy, glossy lip color that will turn heads. It’s a liquid lipstick, not a lip gloss (100% Pure has those too). The luxe silky base has lip-softening pomegranate oil and rich cocoa butter. It’s not smudge-proof but will last for quite a while. All of the colors are pretty. The hardest thing you’ll have to do is choose just one (or choose more)!
Upwards again is a silvery tube that houses a Maracuja Mascara ($28). Ours was “Black Tea” but there is also “Blackberry” and “Dark Chocolate.” I really love mascara that doesn’t harm your lashes, but actually nourishes them. This mascara is infused with maracuja oil, lash conditioning vitamins, and pigments of tea, cocoa, and coffee. While it didn’t volumize, it did color every lash.
The Colors:
In the middle of my photo is the Fruit Pigment Better Naked Palette ($55) which is just one of four palettes. These are cardboard with a magnetic closure and an interior mirror featuring a luminizer, a blush, and three eye shadows. The powders are tinted with fruit pigments, vegetables, tea, and other skin-beneficial plants. They slide on so smoothly that I used just a fingertip. But even better, use a brush. The colors are all wearable day or evening: Fox (beige luminescent powder with pearly-gold shimmer); Bunni (rosy warm nude blush), Kitty (shimmery gold eyeshadow), Bear (warm chocolate brown with rose undertone) and Butterfly (a taupe eye shadow with charcoal undertones).
Next to the palette is a very pretty Fruit Pigmented Blush compact ($40) that is available in 10 colors. This fruit pigmented® blush is housed in a round outer cardboard container and inside is a rose cold metal compact that looks vintage with a delicate floral design on the cop. Inside is a large round pan of intense color in an antioxidant-rich formula that softens skin while you wear it, with anti-aging rosehip oil and nourishing cocoa butter.
The blush is tinted with natural pigments like pomegranate, peach, plum, cranberry, and strawberry. Our sample was “Healthy” and it looked really deep in the compact. However, it is one of those universally flattering colors that you can layer for a little or a lot. It could become a rival to another universally flattering editor’s favorite blush whose name I’m not going to mention!
I really love all of these good-for-your-skin and beauty collection, products. For 100% Pure Cosmetics visit https://www.100percentpure.com/
