Advice Sisters Beauty and Style is in full holiday shopping mode.
We know that on every list, there’s that one person who is really hard to buy for.
This person either has everything, wants nothing, or is hard to define when it comes to giving a gift.
So for that person on your list who needs something unique, here are a variety of gift ideas that are all affordable, and won’t bore them!
Cute Cube For Pets
I’d like to say that The Petcube (approx. $199) is an interactive device for pet owners, but from our tests, it appears that our furry test subjects enjoyed it almost as much.
The attractive Petcube is not much larger than a Rubik’s cube (remember those)?
Once you plug it in an sync it to your phone with a free app (the app takes a little practice to use all of the capabilities) and then, the fun begins!
You can stream 1080HD video with a (fairly) wide-angle view of your pet.
You can arrange for a laser to shoot out from the cube for that hunting behavior pets need each time your pet walks in the Petcube’s path (it’s safe for pets and humans).
However, if you’re walking by the Petcube quite often, this can get a bit out of control! But when you’re not home, talk to your furry ones via a 2-way audio built-in speaker and microphone.
We liked the fact that the Petcube works in low light, too.
When you get a cute photo you can share it with friends and family or see other cute pet pics.
What’s in the Box? You get the Petcube a switching power adapter and power cable, and a quick start guide. You provide the pet and the phone!
This awesome gift for fur parents and their “fur babies” is available in retailers such as Bed Bath and Beyond. Get more information at: https://petcube.com/
Magnifying Mirror
Jerdon Style offers all sorts of mirrors from wall-mounted to vanity. but if you’re like me, you want a compact mirror to fit on your dressing table or desktop.
I selected The Sharper Image LED Lighted Beauty Station ($43) which will dazzle beautistas, because it’s a compact 8” x 11”, it’s super affordable and has LED lights encircling the very clear mirror that illuminates with a touch button.
It even has a USB charging port and mini storage tray! Operated with AC or 4 AA batteries.
I really liked the liked the big clear adjustable Spot Mirror with 5X and 10X Magnification that lets you see literally everything. It rotates out of the way when you don’t need it.
Jerdon Mirrors are available in stores like Bed Bath and Beyond and online at Amazon.com. For more information visit:https://www.jerdonstyle.com/
Elegant Athleisure
But they’re ventured into new collections of athleisure wear with their Etonic Lifestyle Collection.
With the new year coming, looking good while you’re working out or lounging at home is a must!
An example of what Etonic is doing to make this genre of clothing chic, comfortable and affordable is this Women’s FLX Pullover Cowl Sweater ($50).
I’m wearing “Ash Heather” in the photo above, but there’s also Charcoal Heather.
The soft, French terry fabric whas a cowl that drapes gracefully, not too oversized or wimpy.
I like the fit as it covers your curves and for athleisure purposes, the sweater dips alightly lonber in the back great if you are wearing leggings.
There are style for men and for women, but the women’s line has high performance but elegant styles from jackets to tank tops!

Glitzy Skin Care
Great skincare is a great gift, but skincare in glittery packages featured by Prai Beasuty is a super amazing awesome gift!
These gorgeous glitzy jars of anti-aging skincare products from PRAI Beauty are a little splurge — I really thought they would sell for so much more.
I am just showing you a few of the rhinestone studded containers PRAI Beauty offers on their website ad also on HSN (there are a lot more themes).
My first experience with Prai Beauty was at the Indie Beauty Expo in NYC (that’s where the group photo is from).
For the holidays, gift yourself as well as anyone on your list that loves great skincare with, for example, the PRAI Beauty Platinum Firm & Lift Serum 3.4 fl. oz. in Paw Print Pump #551-027 ($59.99).
This boosts collagen production withSyn-Coll, Kombuchka, platinum, hematite, glyceryl polymethacrylate, centella asiatica, chlorella vulgaris, algaes and moisturizers for a firmer, smoother look to skin.
It also helps improve radiance, moisturize, and gently remove dull, dead skin for a better glow.
The Prai Beauty Throat & Decolletage Cream ($38) has a proprietary “Seplift” technology with a plant-derived key ingredient shown to have a temporary firming effect on skin.
It also contains sodium aluronate, shea butter, Vitamin E, mulberry, saxifraga and grape fruit extract.
After testing these products we found them to work well, and the jars alone made us feel so glamorous!

Anti-Aging Ornament
A petite beauty gift that packs a powerful punch is the PhytoReplenish Oil Giftable Ornament ($28) by Dermalogica.
Oils are so trendy, and every skin type can benefit!
This mini-sized ( 0.17oz / 5mL) oil in festive ornament packaging is great for purse or travel,
What it does is help to replenish protective lipids that can be depleted by aging and environmental saboteurs while phytoactives from camellia and tamanu oils help restore your skin’s natural barrier .
An essential lipid blend (with orchid flower and chia seed oil ) also helps to smooth visible lines and lock in moisture. The last part of the powerhouse is sunflower, rice bran and rosemary extracts that offer “luminous” antioxidant protection.
Patriotic Pout!
We met Randa Fahmy, the creator of Makeup America, at the Indie Beauty Event in NYC this Fall, and were excite by her patriotic products,
These are cruelty-free, non-GMO, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and suitable for all skin tones and types.
Wrapped in red, white and blue packaging, what caught out eye the most was the long-wear nail polish and lipsticks are priced affordably at $13.76, in honor of the 13 original colonies and $17.76, in honor of our Declaration of Independence.
Independence Cream Lipstick ($17.76) , is a believable cherry red, dresssed up in a fabulous compact of red and blue and white stars. Even the outer carton is red, white and blue!
This long wearing creamy lipstick features intense red pigments with moisturizingVitamin E and Aloe.
If you’re not into red, there are all sorts of other colors from mude to lipchanging colors.
No matter what their politics, a patriotic lipstick males a great little gift/stocking stuffer! Visit https://www.makeupamerica.us/
Pretty Little Speaker
This little speaker/speakerphone IBT67 Rechargeable Wireless Speaker ($21.00) by iHome is not much larger than well…a standard soup can!
The Advice Sisters Beauty and Style has a full feature of amazing iHome gift ideas (read our 2017 holiday review)The Advice Sisters Beauty and Style has a full feature of amazing iHome gift ideas (read our 2017 holiday review) but we’re adding just one more becahttps://www.advicesisters.com/ihome-holiday-2017use it gives you so much “bang for your buck” in a petite size.
The attractive opaque, faceted black (or blue) speaker compatible with a range of smartphones, tablets and computers and while it uses a micro USB charging cable (included) to charge an internal rechargeable battery (lasts up to 8 hours of audio after a 4-hour charge).
As a speakerphone, it has a digital voice echo cancellation and talk/end control. Setup is super-simple.
The sound isn’t concert hall quality and it’s not as loud as some of the other, larger iHome speakers (to be expected, considering it’s portability and petite size) but it does the job and does it well.
The speaker we received for review is in chic black, but we kind of liked the cheerful look of the speaker in blue, too!
yFind this seriously cute speaker in many retailers, and prices vary slightly depending on where you purchase. Visit https://www.ihomeaudio.com/
