Ask any makeup fan and they’ll tell you that Hard Candy Cosmetics are the ones they buy for trendy, affordable products. That includes me! Even though I review beauty products, I still buy Hard Candy when I want something new and fun to try. The following sites make an out-of-this-world, affordable splurge.
Advicesisters.com has reviewed Hard Candy Cosmetics on and off for decades. According to Wikipedia, Hard Candy was founded Iranian-American sisters Dineh Mohajer and Pooneh Mohajer, and Dineh’s ex-boyfriend Ben Einstein. The company’s first product was a nail polish that Dineh mixed herself. It was a blue polish called “Sky” to match a pair of her sandals.
Since then, beauty fans and editors have loved the affordable and trendy products that just make everyone feel special for less. Their products really are out of this world!
You can’t miss the Hard Candy Look Pro! Eyeshadow Palette in my photo above. My sample was Smoke Out 1673. This palette is THC and CBD-free but there is hemp oil in the formula. There are some glitters, some shimmers and some mattes. No matter what you will find ways to wear them all, depending upon the occasion.
The palette comes with two double-ended brushes making this great for travel, or uses your own brushes. Hard Candy suggests prepping eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyes the Limit Eyeshadow Primer for longer wear. However, I tested these and they stick around pretty well without any additional help. With the rainbow eye trend still going strong, you’ll have everything you need. But I like some of these just to add an accent or as a liner as well as for eye shadows.
My last look at the Walmart website showed six Hard Candy loose powders. Our sample was the Sheer Envy Chilling Wonder Powder. The light texture is nice to set makeup but also is fine for bare skin. However, the key thing that this powder does is cool your skin like it has been misted with water. It is really great for hot days. You will want to use a brush as there isn’t an applicator with this shaker jar. However, at just under $6 this is hardly a deal-breaker.
When the sun shines, Hard Candy Glitteratzi Crystal Lip Duo, simply glows! for a few pennies under $7, I simply love these! Our sample was the Hard Candy Glitteratzi Crystal Lip Duo,1690 Nude Quartz but there’s nothing basic about either the lipstick or the gloss. the lipstick is rose gold and glittery. But when you add the glitter gloss, it is something else entirely! I’m wearing it to show how glowy this is. There are other colors, of course, but this one is sunshine and sunset-perfect.
