Early in July, HINT hit the streets of New York to distribute samples of naturally-flavored water with no sugar, artificial sweeteners, or calories, to editors. I wasn’t in the delivery area, but I did manage to snag a few bottles, anyway. I’m glad I did, because Hint hits the spot–especially on a hot day, waiting for that bus or subway, or after a workout.
There are 10 flavors in all: blackberry, strawberry kiwi, watermelon, mango-grapefruit, pomegranate-tangerine, honeydew hibiscus, raspberry lime, lime, cucumber and pear. They all sound so delicious. But what I really like about Hint Water is that unlike a lot of the so-called flavored water drinks, this one is unsweetened. You taste the flavor (a hint of it–and the blackberry is divine), but you don’t get all that cloying, sugar sweetness. It is, after all just purified water and natural flavors. It is not a kiddy drink.
FACT: How Much Water Do You Really Need to Drink Anyway, In A Day?
I have always heard that you should drink an average of 8 glasses of water a day, but if you’ve got a weak bladder, you don’t really like water, or you just can’t be bothered, you might want to read the information below and adjust, accordingly:
