In my advicesisters.com world, the holidays began two months ago! I had the products in this story on my hard drive ready to curate into a story. Hyaestic offers some products containing Retinol, such as the 1% Pure Retinol. Start at twice a week at night if you’re never used Retinol before, Then work up to more. Use it once a day to deal with dark spots and discoloration. I was happy with the Pigment Enhancing Serum without Retinol as my skin is super-sensitive. Without too much techspeak, it’s good to know that this is a hydroquinone-free treatment product. Although Hydroquinone works on pigmentation, the FDA has received reports of side effects from rashes, facial swelling, to permanent skin discoloration.

This was the first product in an expanding collection of products to address common skincare problems such as: aging, dullness, discoloration, inflammation, acne, and more. If you use anything that resurfaces or helps with discoloration, you must use a decent sunblock on a daily basis. The Hyaestic SPF 45 in a flip top tube is a broad spectrum luxurious and unscented cream. It did leave a tiny bit of white but not enough to bother me. But do shake the flip top tube before use. The actives are Titanium Dioxide 7.2%, Zinc Oxide 9.5%. The cream absorbs lightening fast so you can put on your makeup and get on with your day.

I don’t think you can ever get enough SPF products, and a one I haven’t tried just landed on my desk. I couldn’t wait to try it! Suntegrity Milky Mineral Sun Serum Spray for Face and Body with Broad Spectrum SPF 50 3.4 fl. oz. (also non-nano) is nifty! It arrives with a separate spray cap and a screw on travel cap. It’s also reef friendly, vegan, cruelty-free, and has no paragens, phthalates, glycol, mineral oil, synthetic dyes, sulfates, PABA, nanoparticles, silicones, or chemical UV absorbers.

The product has argan and karanga oil plus a really nice mango/papaya scent. Antioxidant grape seed oil, mango and papaya extracts, and hydrating squalane (and other oils) work to nourish and protect your skin. The actives are 7.2% titanium dioxide and 9.5% zinc oxide. What I like so much about this product is that it’s a sunscreen and serum all in one. It’s water resistant up to 40 minutes, and as it works the key ingredients help moisturize and nourish your skin. As you’re getting holiday ready remember not to skip the SPF as the suns’ rays are out there 365 day a year.

I sprayed this on my skin and it immediately added a non-sticky and flattering sheen, but no white residue. That’s a relief since even though my skin is light, “ashy” sunblocks can show. At $48 it’s pricey, but a nice multi-tasker. No wonder celebs likeKim Kardashian, Zoey Deschanel, and Rose Byrne Like using Suntegrity products. Hoewver, before I requested full sized products from Lelior, I asked for their fragrance testers. This in itself would make a great holiday gift idea, but it also gives you a chance to try out not one or two, but ten fragrance testers each 2ml per vial.
