Jane Iredale’s new Spring 2018 makeup collection is called “Pretty in a Snap.” The products and colors are all covet-able that follow trends, but aren’t “cray cray.”
“Pretty in a Snap” is the perfect name for this collection. With these products and new colors you can do your makeup and take a pretty selfie in well...a snap!
Starting with two of my favorite products we have new colors of Jane Iredale’s PureMoist® Lipstick ($25) “Tricia” (warm nude) and “Jamie” (browned rose). Neither of these colors scream BOLD with a capital “B” but both add flattering, natural color.
These soft and silky lipsticks in warm nude also have nourishing natural oils and superfruit extracts (Moringa Oil with Vitamins A & C plus antioxidant coffee Seed Extract).
They also have Orange Peel Wax and super moisturization. thanks to avocado and Sunflower Seed Oil. Flavored with Organic Pomegranate and Blackberry Fruit Extract f they’re the total package.
Beauty Tip: Jane Iredale suggests applying “Tricia” as a multi-tasker to neutralize lip undertone. Then top it with your favorite bold lip color.
Also in the photo above just below the PureMoist Lipsticks is a new color of Jane Iredale’s Lip Fixation® Lip Stain/Gloss ($32) in a new color called “Content.”
What’s so great about this travel-friendly lip product is that it is lip stain (this one’s a matte pink nude) and clear shimmery gloss in one double-ended tube. Wear the lipstain as a trendy matte or slick on a coat of the lip gloss to make it sexier, poutier, perfect for date night!
There are no petroleum-based ingredients in the lipstain or gloss. What you do get is protection with organic vegetable oils.
The shimmery clear gloss adds high shine and shimmer to any lip color and smells like vanilla soda. We’ve said in the past that the gloss is “crazy good.” It still is!
Swivel open Snap Happy™ Makeup Kit ($58) and you get a translucent, matte finishing powder, a shimmery golden peachy blush and a trio of eye shadows (warm brown, shimmery peach, and a soft but deep shimmery copper eggplant).
It’s all you need to make up your entire face in one compact. Love! Love! Love this!
The Mystikol® Powdered Eye Liner ($24) is also travel friendly, as you can see from the photo above, the top unscrews from the bottom jar of liner, and there’s a liner brush right in the cap!
These new colors of “Emerald” and “sapphire” follow the color eye liner trend
Don’t be afraid to try blue and green as these are soft and fairly deep so they enhance, not overwhelm. Step away from same-old, same-old black and brown. These put pizazz into your eye looks!
They’re also water-resistant powder/cream so they’ll stay put without fading, creasing, or smearing (although you can smudge them on as a shadow if you do it before they set).
If you’re as excited as I am about this new Spring color cosmetics collection from Jane Iredale, note that the productgs are hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested, too.
