Recently, editors gathered to check out the John Frieda Styling Tools. We got a chance not just to see them, but to try them. There were two curling irons, a flat iron, and a hair dryer. The tools feature exclusive, innovative frizz-fighting ions and true ceramic heat with LCD temperature controls (easy to read) and an auto-shut-off for safety. Since it was during the hottest, most humid part of the Summer, I asked for the flat iron.
Conair Sleek Finish Straightener
Yes, frizz is my foe. Would the John Frieda® Sleek Finish 1” Straightener ($49.99) flatten more than a day’s worth of frizz? Well, it certainly looked silvery and sleek, more like a Jedi light sword than a flat iron with smooth, rounded edges, and a blue strip of LED light down the front. But this “weapon” will vanquish frizz and kinks as fast as Star Wars warriors defeat their enemies! It has Advanced Ionic Conditioning, with high heat up to 455°F/235°C, heating up nearly instantly (well, in 15 seconds).
