K-beauty products feature great packaging, innovative formulas, and new ways to treat your beauty routine. Umma’s a Good Hair Day of Seoul brings 7 full sized, cruelty-free K-beauty products together for your hair.
What’s A Good Hair Day of Seoul?
I usually think of K-Beauty products as being skincare oriented, but A Good Hair Day Of Seoul by Umma is a curated set of K-Beauty hair care products.products made for hair and scalp.
“Umma” means “Mother” in Korean, and the company has a wide selection of interesting products. But looking at the beautifully boxed set, and checking out the instructions, it’s clear that this hair treatment set is a ritual as well as a beauty routine.
Some of the products in A Good Hair Day of Seoul are meant to be used daily, some once or twice a week. There are videos on Costo website (yes, it’s at Costco!)
What’s Inside A Good Hair Day of Seoul?
Cleanse:
Beigic Scalp Revival Purifying Scrub – This is one of my favorite products. The shampoo is a scalp exfoliating and a detoxifying shampoo enriched with vegan ingredients such as sea salt and green coffee bean extract to deeply cleanse and impurities from the scalp. Two walnut-sized amounts added to water creates a foamy way to really clean your scalp. You won’t’ believe the difference!
AMH Shampoo (Add More Hair) is a gentle shampoo that also has ingredients to help exfoliate the scalp, eradicate dandruff and boost general scalp health. If you have never done this consider that your scalp is skin, just like the rest of your body. Exfoliating dead skin cells help keep your hair healthy. The shampoo is good for all hair types/ Panthenol will help keep your cuticle smooth helps reduce tangles. A blend of herbal extracts make this spa-worthy!
Treat:
Beigic Damage Repair Treatment Mask Conditioner – The Mask Conditioner is really a multi-tasking mask/conditioner in a jar. It’s used instead of a more liquid-y conditioner. Blended with green coffee bean oil, argan oil and rosehip oil regular use really helps to make hair smoother, and softer. I don’t love using jars in the shower as hands can get slippery. but the product is amazingly good.
Nourish:
Moremo Hair Essence Delightful Oil – Hair oils are trendy, but they also really help to seal the hair cuticles and keep your hair shiny and soft. A bonus is that a little bit goes a long way, and used after cleansing it will reduce tangles and heat damage. Key ingredients include 8 different vegetable oils including brazil nut oil, olive oil, argan oil and avocado oil. This is a nice light oil that instantly makes hair look pampered.
Moremo Revitalizing Hair Tonic – I’ve never really used a “hair mist” before, but that’s how I see using the Moremo Revitalizing Hair Tonic. 7 different kinds of plant root extracts nourish the scalp. I see taking this one to the pool or beach and spritzing for more hydration and to keep the scalp from being too dry.
Shine!
Amos Professional Repair Shine Enrich Night Cream – *AMOS Professional is owned by AmorePacific (I love Amore Pacific products)! However, the purpose of this overnight hair cream is like an overnight mask to help stop breakage, frizz, tangles, and more. You may not need to use it all that often, but whether you do or don’t, you will see nicer looking hydrated hair. You don’t even need to wash your hair in the morning (although, I did).
White Rabbit Volumizing Air Brush – One thing about K-beauty is that it appeals to the girly part of most of us. The pink brush with plastic bristles is meant to be used in the shower to help distribute the treatments and detangle hair. Afterward, you use it to stimulate the scalp.
Pick A Beauty Routine:
You can use the products individually or try one of the suggested routines (full, quick and lazy). However, to get great results you have to commit to the process.
The conditioner alone takes 10-15 minutes and there are 7 products meant to be used at various times during the week. On the other hand, if your hair looks dry, sad, weak, and lackluster, using the A Good Hair Deal of Seoul for a couple of weeks could make an amazing difference. Everything you need is packaged together in this set.
