Bad Dryer + Bad Hair
As I write this article, I am sitting on a patio on the beautiful island of St.Martin, but my own blow dryer isn’t working here and I had to use one of those dreaded dryers that hotels tether to the bathroom walls. Mercifully, this one was working, but it ran very hot and had only one setting. I could feel my hair frying, and now it looks and feels like frizzy old straw, even though I used high quality shampoo and conditioner that normally would leave my hair smooth and silky and soft. After I resorted to using a flat iron to deal with some of the frizz and tropical humidity, I realized I was going to end up having to let my hair dry naturally and tame it with ponytails, buns and hairbands for the duration.

New Kerastase Products
There are so many heat styling products, why are these different and, why get these? Here is a bit about how these newbie products work:
Heat styling causes water to evaporate from the hair fiber, leading to structural changes including weakened, brittle, dried out strands (my issue in the island, at the moment). Each leave-in Thermique works to protect the hair fiber from the aggressive effects of heat and reduce breakage due to blowdrying by 85%* by:
- Instantly resurfacing the outer layer of the hair to smooth and repair damage.
- Infusing the hair fiber with Ceramide and other nourishing ingredients to restore health
- Sealing the hair fiber to protect it from heat damage, make it more manageable for an easier blow-dry, smooth frizz to reduce flyaways and provide a glossy finish.

If your hair is already weak and damaged it needs extra TLC, This product has ” Vita-Ciment” to strengthen the hair fiber from the inside out, and “Vita-Topseal” to instantly reconstruct the hair’s protective outer layer and resurface the hair fiber, this best seller gives damaged hair a second life.
