V.I.P. from Kérastase (200 ML $37.00,  75 ML  $20.00)  may be the “secret weapon” you use constantly when you’re attempting holiday hair looks, because this weightless ‘backcomb effect spray’ gives hair texture, volume, and long-lasting hold.  If you are doing an updo or anything more complicated than a few curls, you need volume and control, something for pins to grip as well.  This product will give you a high level of “texture” plus long lasting hold and a ” Backcomb Effect” without the damage. If you want “big hair” this is a way to get it, thanks to what Kerestase calls their “Patented Horizontal Diffusion.”  You just need to know how to use it:  shake well and apply to dry or pre-dried hair. To Use: on dry or damp hair, rub a small amount  (about the size of a quarter) of balm between the hands and then apply it either section by section or throughout the hair.

It instantly and intensely sets the style for either controlled volume or extreme structuring.  Unlike a lot of other hairsprays, this one not only doesn’t dull shine, it adds it, while keep hair soft to the touch.  It dries quickly without too much odor, and it lasts (Kerestase says up to 48 hours but I didn’t test it that long).
