Kiss my Face is one of those brands that I’ve always liked. The products are simple and pleasant to use. The fact that they’re natural and organic (terms that are bandied about a great deal these days–you really have to look at the ingredients) and put their ingredients on the label, is nice too. The company uses potent and pure botanicals, natural vitamins and minerals, with most ingredients from renewable resources that are environmentally sound — many of the herbs are grown or harvested by indigenous peoples, helping them preserve their way of life.
The first Kiss My Face product I ever tried (decades ago) was, oddly their Shaving Cream. I loved the rich, creamy product, and the way it moisturized my legs. It’s been a long while since the original bottle was offered, in a flip top lid. Now there are seven, scented Moisture Shaves: key lime, lavender & shea butter, peaceful patchouli, peaches & cream, cool mint, and vanilla earth, and unscented, available in 4 oz ($4.95) and 11 oz ($7.95) sizes –the 11 oz with nice, wide, pump top on a white, plastic bottle).
I tried the Lavender & Shea, with olive oil and shea butter. What’s really nice, is that the Kiss My Face Web Site is really interactive, with ways to connect on Twitter and Facebook, and share products you like on other networking venues. The product pages also have a “click for more information” button that gives you everything you’d want to know about the product. They did such a good job with this information, I am including it here, verbatim from the moisture shave lavender & aloe I tried:
GOOD FOR YOU BECAUSE…Olive and Coconut Oils: emollient and moisturizing, Soapwort: rich, lathering herb, Lady’s Mantle: astringent and styptic properties
This product contains no animal ingredients, artificial colors, or unnecessary chemicals and was not tested on animals.
I’m not sure there is much more that I can add to what Kiss My Face provided. Perhaps, just that that the new version still satisfies…at lot. It is still rich and creamy, and moisturizing and makes a dull chore into a more pleasant one. The lavender scent was subtle and pretty–but not too heavy a guy wouldn’t use it. With all the different choices, there is one that will appeal to you (and him) the most.

If you like a product you are much more likely to use it (and washing hands often is a key to staying healthy). So while I’m on the subject of appealing choices — I also tried the Kiss My Face Rosemary & Melon Foaming Soap 8.75 fl. oz. I didn’t really catch too much rosemary scent in the liquid soap, but I loved the clear, deep green plastic pump bottle (a natural pump without propellants) and a large pump top, which produces a froth of rich foam even kids will like. Key ingredients include Aloe Vera Gel: healing and soothing; Orange: cleansing and uplifting and Lemongrass: antiseptic skin cleanser. You can also get this foaming soap in grapefruit & bergamot; lavender & chamomile, and lemon & ginger.
I'm sure the aloe vera in this product will be very soothing.
