Why I Love It!
I have the privilege of trying lots of products and services, but this one is truly life-changing for anyone who wants silky, straight no-frizz hair.
Unlike some of the older style or more harsh keratin treatments, the Express Blowout is safe and mild enough to get your hair colored, and then get the Express Blowout on the same day.
The express blowout consists of a shampoo (so your hair is clean and ready for the treatment). Then the express blowout is applied in sections to every strand, blow-dried, and then flat ironed to seal in the treatment. You leave it in a couple of days, then shampoo and condition at home with one of the Keratin Complex shampoos and conditioners.
Results are Amazing:
Truly, the results are amazing, but the real test of this type of treatment is how it lasts when you go home. Even though your hair will be soft and straight without frizz, it won’t grow out showing a different texture from roots to ends. However, you can enjoy frizz-free hair for weeks.
I recently vacationed in Mexico where it is hot and humid. In the past, I would dread this type of climate and be forced to wear a ponytail or a bun. Today, my hair looks great (and straight) without a struggle!
Keratin Complex At Home Products:

Keratin Complex also has at-home products (shampoos, conditioners, and styling products) to help tame frizz and help your hair look it’s best (see my review of some of the most recent styling products).
After your keratin treatment, however, you really must use a Keratin Complex shampoo and conditioner. If you don’t use the right products, your treatment may not last as long. The key to keeping your KeratinComplex treatment longer is that the products are formulated without sodium chloride. You will want to protect your investment!
The shampoo and conditioner are included with your treatment, but I like it to help keep frizz down and moisturize my hair even when I don’t have the treatment in my hair.
Keratin Care Keratin Volume “Amplifying” is the newest and the one I’m using right now.
It has the Keratin Complex protein to protect and strengthen. But it also has hydrolyzed collagen to reduce breakage, a blend of coconut oil, avocado oil and sweet almond oil to moisturize along with hydrating shea butter, and Pro Vitamin B5. T
There’s also Color Care Smoothing, Blondeshell for blondes, and Timeless Care for avoiding color fading

In-Salon Treatments:
In-salon smoothing treatments also include longer-lasting (3 and 5 months) and a 5-month keratin treatment just for blondes.
I’ve received my express blowouts at the Oscar Blandi Salon in NYC. However, more stylists are getting certified to perform this treatment.
