deep in a drawer bury them
these shoes you gotta hide
only can wear em when nobody’s home
or when you’re talking on the telephone

When you were a little girl, did you dream of being a ballerina and wearing pink ballet slippers? That was a fantasy most little girls shared. Ballet slippers (not toe shoes, but practice slippers) are not just practical for dancing, they are some of the most feminine footwear around, and they are not just for dancing. The soft, slipper-like shoes are elegant, and look cute with everything from pants to evening gowns, and they are so welcome for blistered, sore, world-weary feet. A pair of ballet flats. stashed in a tote or handbag can be the thing that saves the evening when your heels have literally, hobbled you.Linge Shoes Ballet Flats are the real thing, made of truth 100% top-quality soft leather. They are so soft, they’re almost comforting on your feet. Although they don’t have a hard sole so you can’t walk for hours in them, the great thing is that you can fold them up into into a small clutch, and wear them when you can’t stand the stilettos one more moment.Linge Ballet Flat shoes are also an amazing travel companion. If you don’t have a cute little makeup bag to stuff them in, one of those utilitarian quart zip locks will do, but do bring these on your next plane ride and put them on the minute you settle into your seat. Your feet will thank you!
And speaking of travel, if you are trying to pack light, a pair of these does double duty to deal with the security lines at the airport, for slippers in the room, at the pool, or any other place where you aren’t going to be doing a lot of trekking, but you still want to wear something cute and fashionable on your feet.
These ballet flats come in a rainbow of colors. I selected camel, which goes with just about everything, but check out all the great colors in the photo, above. These would make a nice gift for your bridal party (and there is a pristine white pair for the bride). As someone who officiates weddings, I can tell you that everyone who wears heels ends up dancing barefoot, and that includes the bridal party. Why not just buy your bridesmaids each a pair to match their dresses, and save their feet from getting dirty or worse?
I usually wear a size 8, but in a flat like this, it’s often necessary to go up a half size or a full size. I went to a size 9 and it fit well. The elastic which ties in a bow at the front of the shoe isn’t for show, it actually tightens the fit to personalize it.
You can still have ballet dreams and make them come true for just $59.00. Linge ballet flat shoes are available at lingeshoes.com. They make great gifts (and the holidays are coming). Linge Ballet flats are also available in sizes for babies and kids. Get a pair for that new mom!
