Not too long ago advicesisters.com reviewed a pepperminty lip whip duo from Kari Gran. But while these lip whips are great, we missed the opportunity to share some of the more tinted colors. So now we’re giving them to you! These lip whips arrive in little pots, and the formula feels soft and mousse-like.
Give Me Color!
One Lip Whip is $25. We previously reviewed the Kari Gran Lip Whip Duo ($36) with Peppermint Naked (clear) and Peppermint Tinted (barely there pink) Lip Whips. They’re a blend of organic camellia oil, organic avocado oil, and beeswax. These really do more than beautify, they soften and hydrate your lips whether you wear other lip products or not.
However, there are many more lip whips. The more intensely tinted lip whips in my photo and videos in this story also have smoothing, nourishing, and hydrating benefits. But they’ll give you an alternative to lipstick if you want a luxe but natural look. Above you can see all the colors we received from light to dark. Which one is your favorite? I can’t really say which one I like the best because they are all flattering. Ok. If you twist my arm I’ll admit that I like the “Cora Gold” (3rd from the left). The scent is wonderful and the quite intense red is shot through with subtle gold. But they are all nice. I just love a red lip that gives me beauty benefits, too.
Use a Lipbrush:
With the tinted lip whips, I suggest the Kari Gran lipstick brush for just $10 (or use your own). The tints are intense enough to leave color on your fingers. If you want a clean look and clean fingers, definitely use a brush as you would for lipstick.
