You aren’t going to get pumped up so much that you want to run a marathon (unless, of course, you really do intend to run one). I didn’t get a blast of energy, but I did manage to get through my late afternoon slump and well into the evening feeling alert, not jittery. I immediately got hooked on them–that’s maybe the only downside–because they are not really “candy” in that sense of the word.
