MeSkinLabs sent me a product called LushLash Eyelash Growth Serum that helps boost the beauty of your eyelashes. Let’s face it: lashes and brows are so important to frame your eyes.
If yours are thin or you just want more, more more, you can color your brows or do microblading. However, that’s less true for lashes (mascara can only do so much).
If you want “au natural” not faux, here’s how a an eyelash growth serum like LushLash can help to make a difference.
The box arrived with a moisturizer (more on that later.
The LushLash eyelash treatment works to boost your natural 30-45 day lash growth cycle so your lashes are more dramatic and volumized.
The product is ophthalomolgist tested, paraben, sulfate, phthlate, fragrance and prostaglandin-free, safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
LushLash ingredients are cutting edge with the kind of fibroblasts (collagen-producing cells) that help give skin maintain firmness.
Mesenchymal cells (Mesenchymal stem cells can become any type of fully developed cell). These are supposedly shown to stimulate hair growth.
LushLash also packs in 542 proteins, peptides (protein fragments made of amino acids) and other growth factors) to help revitalize the building blocks of lashes and keep lashes conditioned.
The company is using some accepted hair loss treatment ingredients including the compounds, Redensyl®, Capixyl™ and SymPeptide™.
Redensyl reactivates hair follicles and skin tissue to promote hair growth. Combining an effective hair-growth peptide with vitamin-rich red clover extract,
Capixyl works to keep hair from thinning and falling out. A novel peptide compound, SymPeptide lengthens and thickens eyelashes and brows, while fortifying hair to prevent loss.
Here’s the entire list of what’s in LushLash: Deionized Water, Human fibroblast Conditioned Media, Glycerin, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16, Butylene Glycol, Aqua, Dextran, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract, (Water, Glycerin, Sodium Metabisulfite, Glycine, Larix Europaea Wood Extract, Zinc Chloride, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract), Biotin, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylyl Glyco
How To Apply
Applying LushLash is as easy as applying liquid liner to your upper lash line. With a clean face, apply the liquid starting at the innder inner corner of the eye and moving outwards just as you’d do with a liquid liner.
Note: LushLash hasn’t tested the product on the lower lash line and doesn’t recommend applying it there.
Almost all of these eyelash growth serums use a fine tipped brush wand. For those who are very myopic however, they’re problematic.
In attempting to get close to my lash line, I ended up sticking the fine tipped brush right into my eye. I was ok, but personally, I’d prefer a brush-tipped wand like a mascara wand.
The LushLash serum seems like a good one, and the price is about the same as most of the other good ones. As with all of these lash treatments, you need to be patient and apply the product correctly and regularly.
Almost none of these treatments are instant. It will take a couple of weeks to 8 weeks (or maybe a bit more) for your lashes to really show improvement.
