I couldn’t wait to check out Measure & Made! This is a new women’s fashion brand. It offers a unique sizing system with a custom-like fit using their “Fit logic” online questionnaire.

Just a few of the styles of shorts and jeans at the Measure & Made event

there are quite a few different styles of career pants & capris
I wasn’t alone. The roof deck was packed with editors and fashionistas excited to get a first look at the latest styles, from short, to cropped pants jeans, career clothing, tops, and more
The colorful displays on racks were unusual, not just for what appeared to be good quality clothing but for the fact that all the bottoms from shorts to capris to career pants can be sized to more precisely fit any woman through the FitLogic questionnaire.
What is Fit logic?
Fit logic sizing is an interesting concept. You aren’t a size 6 or 16. That’s old school.
Measure & Made takes your body shape, height, weight and other proportions into account when assigning a size to you.
The questionnaire is easy to use and the questions are straightforward. Once you have completed the questionnaire, your shape and size will be determined and the right size sent to you in a couple of weeks.
Three Basic Shapes:
“I’ve studied over 60,000 women’s bodies to create this world patented fit system.” Cricket Lee, Fit logic® Founder
With Fit Logic 94.8% of Women Fall into 1 of 3 Shapes:
Shape 1 – Wider middle, flatter bottom, and slim or medium thighs. Hourglass figures with waist smaller than hips is Shape 2. Shape 3 – is for women with a smaller waist, abundant bottom, and larger thighs.
Once you get past this step, you will be asked how your pants generally fit, your height and what are your usual trouble spots on your body when fitting pants or jeans. The FitLogi system will tell you what size category you are.
As of now, the sizes have been expanded to include sizes 20-28.
This is great news for women who just can’t find the right size, style, or brand to fit them.
Once you have your size right from Measure & Made you might not have to go anywhere else for shorts, capris, jeans, or pants again.
My Measure & Made Experience:
I choose a classic tailored black pant–the must-have basic in your wardrobe. The pants were a good weight and had a side closure. They were beautifully boxed. Awesome!

Oops! These Measure & Made pants were too short!
However, when I put them on, the legs were really short, not the ankle pants I expected. They were also somewhat tight.
Measure & Made 2nd Try:
When you are customizing clothing, you hope the end result will be as intended. At first, I was disappointed,
I understood that the fault could have been mine, but after talking to the very nice and patient people at Measure & Made and learning more about how their fit system works, I was ready to try again.
Measure & Made sent me a new trouser pant style for Fall hot off the production line in August.
The $59 trouser pant is slightly lighter weight. It has a front closure and is available in black, maroon and grey.
I choose black, but I’m showing you the grey version for detail.
These fit much better! The pants were really comfortable, but also good quality.
Answer Carefully:
You’ve got the carefully consider your questionnaire answers. I answered quickly due to the crush of editors vying to get a chance. I picked the wrong body type.
Had I thought about what I chose a bit more, my answers might have yielded a better fit.
Trust Measure & Made:
All in all, I am quite impressed with Measure & Made. It’s not just the courtesy that I received. You can trust this company. Just to give you some idea of how affordable custom clothing can be, here are some prices: Career pants, Capris and Bermuda Shorts are $ 59.95; Jeans: $79.95; Denim Bermuda Short: $49.95. That’s really amazing!
Measure & Made will send your pants with a money-back guarantee for 30 days. Love them, or leave them. I’m not sending mine back!
