I’m all about sun safety, but honestly, I am not always as good about wearing plain SPF lotion on my face as I should be. So I’m beyond words with excitement to tell you about a fabulous SPF 25 cream-to-powder foundation from Merle Norman. The compact arrives with a big interior mirror for touch-ups, and a sponge applicator. The matte finish makes it perfect for Summer and the foundation is long-wearing and won’t disappoint. I’m so happy to have found it! Save your skin with Merle Norman SPF products including a new SPF 50 sunscreen.

There are 11 colors to choose from, Therefore you might need a little help deciding from the small swatches which one is best for you. Of course, you can visit a Merle Norman store or representative and see them in person.
Foundations are supposed to enhance your skin, but this Expert Finish Makeup with SPF 25 does a lot more than that. It protects your skin from the sun while keeping moisture in. The sunscreen actives are Octinoxate 4% and Titanium Dioxide 5.2%.
What Else?

Simply Beige”
When you look at the compact, you might think the cream foundation will be oily, but it’s not! Micro-Porus spherical Powder leaves a velvety matte finish. Murumuru Seed Butter hydrates and conditions. Antioxidant Vitamin E and Revidrate (which enables the skin to recreate its own natural moisture) are also good to help your skin retain moisture. The foundation is best for normal to dry skin, and it’s fragrance, gluten, and oil-free. It also doesn’t block your pores or make them look huge when you apply the foundation.
Color Choices:

I tried three that I thought would be close to my skin tone. You can apply this with a fairly light touch. However, for the purposes of the photo below, I piled it on. the color closest to my thumb was “Ivory” but it was really too light. Next to it is “Medium” which was a bit dark, but I could wear it if I applied it with a brush instead of a sponge that picks up a lot more color.
The best pick was “Simply Beige.” which you can hardly see to the left of Medium. This blended almost perfectly with my skin tone. Usually, I’d opt for ivory or maybe medium, so this was s surprise. You can see color swatches, but I wish Merle Norman would have a visual chart with actual women wearing the foundation. That would help a lot.
Purchasing one of these foundations could be the best $40 investment you make this Summer. The cream-to-powder formula is perfect for traveling (no broken powder in your bag)!
Merle Norman Ultra Light Sunscreen SPF 50:
When you are really going to be out in the sun, nothing takes the place of a high-end broad-spectrum sunscreen. This new one by Merle Norman has a cocktail of sun-protection actives including avobenzone 3%, homosalate 10%, octinoxate 5%, octocrylene 2.75% and oxybenzone 6% These are chemical sunscreens and I am not wild about the light floral scent. However, as a sunblock the SPF 50 provides effective protection from the sun’s damaging rays.
Not every sunscreen is right for everybody. The one that is should be the one you like and will use regularly and properly. For more information on chemical vs mineral, sunscreens click here
Shake the tube of sunscreen before using and you’ll smooth on a clear with no residue sunscreen that dries almost immediately. Then go out and enjoy your day. s The flip-top tube makes it easy to tote with you for the entire family to use. This is not recommended for babies under 6 months but it’s a good idea to check with your pediatrician to check what’s best for your very young child.
