Milly by Michelle Smith: This season, punk met prep in a collection centered around black, accented by putty and ecru. But there was plenty of color in prints and accents: shocking pink flame and malachite. Milly’s new jewelry collection featuring chunk statement pieces was also front and center. Super-mini dresses and shorts were paired with swingy jackets and loads of belts and chunky jewelry, for a look that was part sophisticated lady, part downtown, part “Barbie,” and all girl. I’m not sure I’ll be wearing shorts with anklet socks and Manolos, but there is a lot to like in this Springtime collection.
