Miracle Skin Transformer by Sarah McNamara is much touted and talk about. In fact, The Advcie Sisters mentioned the star product, the Miracle Skin Transformer SPF 20 for Face, back in June 2010, and we were very excited about it!
Now there are a lot of different products in the collection, some of which are available as sets on the Miracle Skin Transformer web site (with some other exclusives), and there are also a wide variety of sets and other MST products on HSN.
I have to admit that I didn’t find the Miracle Skin Transformer web site very user-friendly, but it is worth checking out for some of the specials. One that really is a good value (with caveats) and that let you try a couple of the great products in the line, is a “Starter Kit” with 5 items for just $39.99 (plus additional shipping & handling). The “caveat” is that this one is only offered if you agree to a “seasonal slip” agreement, and that is automatic. I’m not a fan of these. However, if you are, you can simply pick one of four tints that will suit your skin the best and you’ll have the products you need to start working on better looking skin, without having to remember to replenish them.
The Miracle Skin Transformer products feature an “M3 Complex” that delivers a rich combination of anti-oxidants and vitamins to your skin, including Saw Palmetto and Passion Fruit extracts and even better the products use 100% natural active ingredients. Vitamin K, Vitamin A, Vitamin E and CoEnzymeQ10 are encapsulated into tiny beads for direct delivery onto your skin. Organic certified EcoPhysalis, a natural plant extract, helps protect your skin from environmental damage and even out the appearance of skin tone. With all of this, product is still free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, wax, mineral oils, and talc, and it is dermatologist tested.
If you’re just going to try one product, it definitely has to be the Miracle Skin Transformer SPF 20 Face. It is a 5-in-1 tinted skin enhancer-in a-tube, designed to Hydrate, Prime, Enhance, Mattify & Protect your skin in one simple step. The creamy, sheer tint has an antioxidant-rich hydrating base that offers weightless coverage, works to smooth skin’s imperfections, prime, and offer broad spectrum protection thanks to SPF 20. If all you did was smooth on this product, your face would be ready for the day. Think of all the other products, and additions to your beauty routine that you could stop using, because this one tube delivers all those benefits. Follow with a tube of Treat and Conceal, in the same, four, light, medium, tan and dark, tints. This product is creamy but opaque, and contains rose and chamomile extracts, along with other essential oils.
I liked the silkiness of the products, and my reviewers really liked the four sheet tints: light, medium, tan and dark (the latter, is deep enough to satisfy just about all deep complexions). While our tests didn’t dramatically diminish pores or the look for fine lines, it did give our skin a luminous, but still moistly matte finish, that we loved. Get these at Sephora stores nationwide, Bergdorf Goodman NY and online via theMiracle Skin Transformer web site Sephora and other sites.
Everyone needs a good way to cleanse the skin in the morning and melt off makeup,a t night. The Miracle Skin Transformer Hydroactive Cleanser won high marks. The non-foaming, unscented cleanser deeply cleansed skin (with the included miracle refining facial brush/bristle head) or just with hands, or a cloth. It literally melted off makeup, and left skin feeling refreshed, but still moist. It is touted as a foaming cleanser, but our reviewers didn’t really report that it was foamy, just pleasant to use and easy to rinse off. The product also purifies and balances skin. There is also a Hydroactive Microderm product (exfoliator) with tiny micro-beads that gently but effectively slough off dead skin cells and smoothed skin, making it feel soft and healthy. This exfoliating product combines the micro-exfoliants with natural extract. It features high grade micronized magnesiumoxide crystals and the M3 complex. TIP: included with the starter kit is a miracle refining facial brush with a sponge tip head that works very well with the exfoliator. The brush, (powered by two AA batteries) has 2 speeds for those who want a little less, or a little more, power.
There are a number of other Miracle Skin Transformer products not in kits, that are worthy of your consideration. One we liked is the Miracle Skin Transformer Triple Active Night Cream ($68.00 1.7 oz.) that is touted as taking the place of three creams: moisturizing, exfoliating, and fighting daily environmental aggressors. It also helps combat signs of aging and dull-looking skin, leaving behind a more radiant and youthful appearance (with regular use). It is very emollient. Key ingredients in this rich cream in a jar, include: sunflower seed, avocado, olive and evening primrose oils, shea butter, bamboo silica, pea extract, glucosamine, edelweiss and other key ingredients
All in all, I give a thumbs up to the “as seen on TV” and “online exclusive” collection of skincare products. The bonus set on the Miracle Skin Transformer website is really is a bargain, if you consider all that you are getting, including a chance to sample just about all the key products in the line. The motorized facial brush with two heads alone is worth the price. But if you don’t want to spring for a recurring charge on your credit card, you can purchase these items individually and re-order as you wish.
