When I usually write about hair products, I’m suggesting shampoo and conditioners, or a hair masque. But these two products that I’m recently obsessed with are going to add visible results to your hair. You’ll want to try them, I’m sure!
Enjoy Hair of Many Colors, But Just For A While:
There have been numerous times I’ve thought about getting streaks of color in my hair other than my own. Each time, what stops me is the thought “what if I don’t like it, or I get tired of it?” So I’m obsessed with Hue London which has a great way to add temporary color. Their Hair Chalk Salon set contains just about all of the colors of the rainbow, glitter, a little comb, and even a bag to store it all in.
This washable hair chalk is geared to teens and kids, but who says an adult can’t have fun with it too?
These waxy sticks are easy to use, although my hair didn’t turn out blindingly bright. If you’re really light blonde you may see better results. If your hair is dark, you may need to deposit more color. Wetting your hair slightly also makes adding the color easier. Just let the color dry and it will stay until you wash it out. If you add glitter , add it when you hair is still slightly damp. You can keep it longer-wear with a bit of hairspray.
Safe for Youngsters and Adults Alike:
These tween and teen hair accessories are safe, non-toxic, and washable. I laughed when I read that you could use this on your dog, but why not? It washes out easily. As a word of precaution, it’s best to test the chalks and glitter on a patch of skin first. This is especially true if you’re letting a young child use them.
I didn’t use the colorful hair elastics or the little comb when testing the Hue Hair Chalk Salon, but the comb is great for your purse. The small elastics are great for any time you need them or to add more color to your hair chalk style. I saw it on Amazon when it was $22 but now it’s on sale for around $17. This is just fun for a party or date night. Get it on amazon!
Seriously Luxe and I’m Obsessed With It
With unique products, there is often a higher price, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth it. For example, the Kintsugi Amplifyiing Glaze Volumizing Treatment Serum multi-tasks as a beautifier and hair nourishment in one. This product is also fine for color-treated or processed hair. For short to medium-length hair only a dime-sized amount is needed on freshly washed hair. You can add a moisturizing conditioner, but with this one, you really don’t need to. It is easy to become obsessed with a product that works even better than you thought it would!
Lots of Benefits:
The elegant tower white bottle with a gold and black design also has a shiny gold oxygen-free pump top. Powered by marine extracts, premium polymers, and restorative protein compounds, the product purposes to make your hair thicker, shinier, and easier to style. It also provides benefits such as UV protection from the sun for your precious strands. The serum is nearly weightless but it will also moisturize and help to prevent breakage. Kerastore 2.0 nourishes the hair with proteins that help hair thickness. Many hair products rely on a version of keratin to keep hair healthy. The product is also paraben and silicone-free, and leaping bunny (cruelty-free).
The key ingredients in this product are SymHair Force 1631, Procapil, and Kerastore 2.0.
If you don’t know what these are, I’ll give you a quick introduction. SynHairForce 1631 is naturally sourced as an extract from microalgae that strengthens hair to help support hair growth. Procapil is created from natural plant compounds to help the blood flow within the scalp, and reduce brittle hair.
Kintsugi suggests that the more you use it the more benefits you get. I can’t validate the claim, but plenty of reviews seem to indicate that the product works as promised. So if you want shiny, manageable, healthy, thicker hair, go to the Kintsugi website where you can choose a package of 1, 3, or 6 bottles (e.g. $68/ 4 fl. oz.) with free shipping in the USA. I use mine all the time.
