My View of NEWA, for High-Tech Anti-Aging Skincare at Home
By Alison Blackman
NEWA is big news! It’s an at-home anti-aging skincare device that uses the same “3DEEP” technology you’ll find in the offices of professionals.
NEWA can help you to reduce wrinkles, lift and tighten the skin on your face, make a sagging jawline look better, and rebuild collagen.
More amazingly, it is claimed that you can do this in an 8-minute treatment just two times a week with results in 4 weeks and collagen building for up to 3-6 months after the 4-weeks are up.
*I always say up front that your everyone’s skin is different, so treatment times and results will vary.
But NEWA’s website has clinical studies (see studies) that even a sagging jawline can look better 12 weeks.
What Is 3Deep Technology? Why is it useful?
3DEEP® technology is high-tech, safe and effective way to heat the skin (without burning it).
It can send controlled energy deep into the skin tissue.
It’s known that this action stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin.
What is Collagen and Elastin?
Many of you already know this, but collagen and elastin fibers are essential components of your skin.
Collagen fibers give your skin strength and tone while the elastin fibers allow skin flexibility or elasticity.
You may have tried topical products that claim to do the same thing, but these can only penetrate so far into the skin.
The NEWA device can penetrate 3 layers deeper where new collagen and elastin fibers actually form,.
This is known to stimulate the natural production of new fibers.
Here is a 34-second video from NEWA that shows you NEWA in use
Unboxing/Getting Started:
The device, power cord, tube of activator gel, travel pouch and directions are included in the box.
The Experience:
NEWA is easy to use and suitable for almost all ll skin types (not for deepest skin tones) and FDA approved, but you have to use it correctly.
The Bottom Line:
It’s exciting that consumers with disposable income can purchase products that potentially have a dramatic positive impact on their skin.
I like the NEWA. If you can afford the initial outlay (there is a 60-day trial offered on the NEWA website), why not try it?
Don’t be put off by the NEWA website which looks “scammy” even though it company and the device, isn’t. The website could really use an image update.
