When I think of Columbia I think first of emeralds, and then chocolate, aguardiente (among other things). Now I’ll be including Flora Beauty’s Ô Skincare (pronounced ‘awe’).
Flora beauty has other brands as well such as Mind Naturals. But Ô Skincare is a new brand and the products celebrate Columbia’s rich biodiversity by using locally and sustainably sourced whole-plant extracts and active botanicals. These all-natural ingredients are kept 100% clean and organic through growth, cultivation, and extraction. By blending CBD oil with these natural ingredients, Ô rejuvenates the skin and gives your complexion a sun-kissed and supple glow.
I was intrigued. There are several products, but I selected just two that would be what you might try first if you’re checking out this brand: An Anti-aging Moisturizing Cream with Full-spectrum CBD and their Anti-Aging Repair Eye Cream (also with full-spectrum CBD).
Presentation:
Ô Skincare products are unscented and housed in elegant frosted glass bottles with black pump tops. Glass can be tricky for those who have lots of curious pets or children, but the packaging from the pure white cartons with black lettering to the bottles inside are non-gender specific. I really do think this is a good thing, especially in today’s culture.
Full Spectrum CBD:
A full-spectrum CBD product contains multiple cannabis plant extracts, including essential oils, terpenes, and other cannabinoids, such as cannabinol. Full–spectrum CBD products may also contain up to 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid in the cannabis plant that produces the ‘high’ feeling in people. In skincare, however, full-spectrum CBD is recommended.
Help or Hype?
I have mixed feelings about CBD in skincare but so many brands are using it. To judge CBD-infused skincare overall, I look closely at the other ingredients that would automatically be recognized as producing skin benefits.

Ô Skincare Anti- Aging Moisturizing Cream
The Moisturizing Anti-Aging Cream for example ($44/ 1.75 fl. oz.) has some good ingredients for skincare benefits such as aloe, calendula extract, and Cacay oil. This is an essential oil that is good for hair and scalp and of course, your skin. It has high doses of Vitamin E to smooth skin and help stimulate cell turnover. Other good-for-your-skin ingredients in this product include Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Luvitol, Vitamin E.
Eye Cream from Ô Skincare
When it comes to eye cream, I personally am very picky. My eyes are super-sensitive. Fortunately, the key ingredient in the Anti-Aging Repair Eye Cream is antioxidant sasha inchi oil. This is good for moisturizing and skin elasticity. Other good-for-your-skin ingredients include Vitamin C Stabilized, Hyaluronic Acid, and also Thalassine 2, Hydroxyproline, Grlypo-repair, Cobiodefender, Cabiolift.
Thalassine 2 is a sea chamomile extract that some call “Botox-like” that helps to quickly reduce the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles. Nothing works like an injectable, but you an get temporary benefits that tighten. Hydroxyproline in skincare is a major component of the protein collagen and plays a key role in supporting collagen.
Grlypo-repair is something that appears to be exclusive to Ô Skincare as I couldn’t find anything about it anywhere else. Grlypo-repair but judging from the list of ingredients on the label, I’m assuming it is some sort of collection of extracts. I am asking around and will update this story if I can get some real information about this.

When something new comes along such as new Ô Skincare that doesn’t have a lot of information available, I think it’s worthy of its own story. I like the products I tried actually quite a lot, but I am still wary of saying it’s due to the benefits of CBD. If you are eager to get on the CBD-infused skincare bandwagon, or you’re just looking for some new nifty skincare to try, Ô Skincare is a good choice.
There isn’t an Ô Skincare website. find it at: https://www.xn--lifein-nxa.com/
